Flik Silverpen's Guide to Patreon!
🕑 Added 2022-01-10 04:17:39 +0000 UTCThank you so much for your support! This is a pinned post with some helpful information and links to the adventure downloads for easy access.
How This Patreon Works
Each month a new adventure will be announced via a post. Keep an eye on these for a little preview of the adventure as well as updates on printing, shipping, videos, and live streams.
Later in the month, the digital version of the adventure will be released in another post (links below) for Hero and Legend tier Patrons. A few days later, I will send the adventure to the printer and a few weeks after that I will mail the zine, plus extras, out to all Legend tier patrons (usually the month following when the zine is released digitally).
For example, if you sign up for the January adventure, the digital files will be ready in January, but the zines will most likely ship in February or early March.
To keep shipping costs low, zines are mailed via USPS letter mail. This way, you won't have to pay high shipping costs, but it might take a little longer than usual for the zine to arrive, especially for international patrons.
This Patreon is subscription based, so you will be charged every month based on the day of the month you sign up (join on January 15th, charged again on Feb. 15th, and so on). You can cancel at any time. If you have any trouble, please send me a message and I'll get you sorted out!
Shop Discount and Purchasing Past Adventures
All patrons are welcome to a 15% discount in the online shop, jpcoovert.com/shop
Just use the code ADVENTUREAWAITS at checkout!
If you would like to purchase past adventures, they become available once all Legend Tier Patrons have time to receive their copies in the mail (approximately 2 months after the digital version is posted). Keep in mind that purchasing from the webshop requires you to pay shipping and DOES NOT include the extras sent to Patrons each month. So if you like paper miniatures, maps, stickers, or whatever other fun goodies I include, it's best to stay signed up to the Patreon.
Join the Discord!
There's a wonderful group of people hanging out and talking games in the patron-only discord server. To join, go to your Patreon settings, click "More", then "Connected Apps." Under "App Integrations" click connect next to Discord. Login to your Discord account then click "Authorize."
Patreon will automatically join the server, but you might have to refresh a time or two.

OhHaiMe
Is there anyway to get the Dragontown PDF now that the Kickstarter is over?
JP Coovert
By backing the Dragon Town Kickstarter! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jpcoovert/dragon-town-and-the-darkness-below?ref=p5u290

There's been a delay with July and August but you should have received June. Send me a message and I'll get you sorted out!
Roland
I joined June 6th at the Legend Tier... but have never received anything in the mail. Can someone follow-up with me to let me know when I'd start receiving the physical copies? Thanks!
JP Coovert
Yes! If not this month, early next!
Cole Brown
Hey JP, was curious if the Star Borg series of zines will eventually make it into the shop, I unfortunately joined your Patreon to late and missed out on the first two zines.
JP Coovert
FSG 2-10 were taken off the Patreon a bit ago to prepare for the Dragon Town Kickstarter. If you're trying to run Worms this weekend, send me an email and I'll get you a PDF!
Tommy Beverley
Hey Jp, new to the Patreon 😁, was looking for Emperor of Worms, don’t know if that’s one that’s on the shop or not but checked both there and here and can’t seem to find it, sorry if I’m missing it but was hoping to run that this weekend 🙈 do you know where I could find that 🤔
JP Coovert
Really want to but it's a tough time of year. We'll see!
Tyler
JP are you going to Pax Unplugged this year?
JP Coovert
Just Gen Con for me this year.
Thomas Ryan
Any chance of you visiting the North East? GraniteCon is going to be pretty big this year (Manchester, NH)
JP Coovert
Walking around one of the days. I'll mention which day on the discord server when I know :)
Dylan Fraser
JP, will you be attending Origins this year?
JP Coovert
I'll be at Origins one of the days. And Gen Con the entire time. Just walking around though, no booth.
Thomas Ryan
Semi-related question! Will you be going to any Conventions this Summer and Fall?
JP Coovert
Use the patreon website (not the app), go to settings, then account. Send me a message if you need more help!

Hi JP how do I change my address I have been looking all over in the app but can't find my shipping information anywhere.
Michael Lam
Hi JP! Fellow skater/fantasy nerd here. Started watching your videos last year about the time I was getting into DMing and the map drawing you’ve inspired has brought so much joy to me and my players! Stoked to finally be able to afford to be a patron. Hope shipping stuff to the UK doesn’t give you too much grief! Mike
JP Coovert
I will get to this soon. Probably early December!
Christopher Kitching
Hi, new supporter here. Would it be possible to upload a file that is a pdf formatted as single pages so that I can print as a booklet in Acrobat? I love printing these and the way this file is makes it difficult to print your own. Thanks!!
Joe Matjasz
Hi JP, I've been watching your videos for so long and have been so great to watch- I can't wait to see more of your guides for drawing
Andreja Popovik
Hello JP, started watching your videos a long time ago and you inspired me to make my own TTRPGs , I can't wait to learn more from you and ask for advice if that is possible :) Thank you for being yourself and always making such awesome HONEST videos. Can't wait to get my first zine on the mail, very happy to be supporting you!!!
Doomed Wizard
I've been gaming for over 40 years, and honestly, JP's (and Mapcrow's) videos have really made me rethink a lot of how I think about running games.
JP Coovert
Yes! Dragon Town was a Kickstarter before the Patreon started. It's available on my website. If you pick it up, don't forget he patreon discount code!
TonyMcAwesome
Hello JP! Just started watching your YouTube videos and joined your Patreon for that sweet sweet zine-age! Is there a reason FSG 01 is not avaiable as a download?
Justin J Cartee
I'm like Doomed wizard. I've been loving your YouTube channel and love your art style. Your style is whimsical, yet not so much so that one has an issue taking you seriously, Love your stuff.
JP Coovert
YES!
Mikel Ryskiewicz
Is Flik a previous PC of yours?
Doomed Wizard
Signed up recently, but I've been watching you for awhile. I love your stuff, so creative, and inspiring.
JP Coovert
More are on their way!
Connor Gillis
Hi JP! I am a new Legend member and am wondering when you might restock your Dungeon Master pins?
Marcus Burggraf
Thanks to Arcane Library I found your stuff. It's great, thank you!
Nate Campbell
I finally did it JP! I've been watching your videos for years and I meant to join sooner. No more forgetting, I'm committed now! Hellvector / NewbieC4 on YouTube.
Marshall Sriboonrung
I stumbled upon your YouTube channel today. As a designer, I'm geeking out. Love your style!
JP Coovert
Appreciate it! Hope you enjoy the books!
Jack Morton
Wife got me this for my birthday after I’ve spent the last year or two watching your vids. Really inspirational and looking forward to taking a closer look at some of your work!
JP Coovert
Thanks for the support!!!
Nick
Just joined after following your Youtube for, what must have been, some years now. Good stuff there and really looking forward to see more of your works and art.
JP Coovert
It depends on the zine. Some have extras and some don't. Usually they are included as a digital file with the PDF versions.
Min Lungelow
I only just joined at Hero, but I'm kinda interested in physical copies. There were 'extras' mentioned, that get shipped out with the Patron physicals... Is that stuff completely inaccessable after the month it's released? Or does it include things that could be downloaded or purchased later? (I'm kind of collection-minded and I get anxious about starting a physical collection if I can't complete it due to already missing out.)
JP Coovert
Thanks! I put a lot of effort into printing nice books for patrons, so the digital versions are presented in a way that works best for viewing digitally.
heptres
I really like your ideas for TTRPGs, is there a way to get a pdf as single page documents? I would like to print them in a zine-format and staple them together. Keep up the great work <3
Sergio Malespin
Hey JP! Your art and creativity is awesome! I've learned a lot from your videos and appreciate your craft!
JP Coovert
Thank you! Glad you're all having fun with it. Unfortunately there are only minis for Plumb Wax and Emperor of Worms. Maybe more for future adventures though!
Les Dempsey
My daughters got hooked after playing Dragon Town. We love your artwork and the ease in which the adventure flows. Well done. Have you made downloadable paper minis for all the other adventures? I've found a few, but not for most of them
Joe RODRIGUEZ
fantastic Art!
