don't know how far you guys are going to get into TVD, but at least watch until season 4. that's a good time to decide whether or not you wanna keep watching because the storytelling and writing starts to feel off from there. also a certain episode leads you into the originals so you can technically watch it after that episode

I understand why most shows have shorter seasons- they’re so much more expensive to make. Every actor with lines gets paid more $ & inflation is one issue. But think about the famous shows with short seasons: Stranger Things, Wednesday, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The Sandman, Wheel of Time etc. Besides a lot of main characters they also have a lot of visual effects in common. It’s still VERY expensive. So much so they get canceled after 2-3 seasons bc the studio can’t keep shelling out the funds. Maybe they need to go back to practical effects rather than relying on digital. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I hate shorter seasons too, but I get it.

This episode gave us two hints about Tyler. Sofie and Mair, the scene with Stefan and Elena talking after they made out had important information about Stefan that would have had a greater impact on your reaction when Elena found Katherine’s picture. 70% of the TVD story is told through body language, facial expressions, symbols, tone, music, color, wardrobe, and decor, among other things. It is important to pause when you make comments. The music playing in the background while Elena peruses Stefan’s room is interesting.

Omg the scene when Stefan turns around and reveals his vampire face and the way Elena looks at him and they kiss is one of their best moments. It's so emotional because she's accepting him for who and what he is. That was actually so beautiful to watch.

Already know her finding Katherine's photo in Stefan's room was so bad it makes me cringe each time like I get why he didn't wanna tell her but also, man she would've found out anyway and now it makes him seem like he's obsessed with Katherine or trying to replace Elena with her even though obviously that's not the case.
