Boone and Shannon are step-siblings. No blood relation at all, but still strange! They’ve known each other since Boone was 10 and Shannon 8 😅. The island is all about letting go, although Locke’s goo method is a tad intense in this episode.

Boone’s girlfriend, with him at the beginning of the flashback, looks a lot like Shannon so it wasn’t much of a surprise to me that he had a thing for her.
