My name is Jason Carter, or at least it was. I used to be a boy like any other boy who had just turned 18. As I look down on my body, I ask myself how did this happen?
It was two weeks ago; my grandma had just passed away a couple of days before that. We went to her house to clean it before we sold it. I was in the basement, helping dad clean up when I found a very old wooden box that contained what looked like a gold chain necklace with a huge green, emerald gem in the middle.
It looked too beautiful to be left alone, and I knew that Gail, my girlfriend, would love it. Besides, I doubted the gem was anything but fake. So, I took it and walked to Dad. "Hi, Dad, I found this, and I think it's fake,” I told Dad, showing him the emerald gem necklace.
My grandpa was someone who was obsessed with these old artifacts. He passed down this obsession to Dad. My dad took it to another level and became an archeologist. Right now, he’s teaching at the state university and preparing for his Ph.D.
Dad looked at the necklace before smiling and handing it back to me. "Yeah, it has to be fake since that stone is huge, and that fine gold chain wouldn’t be worth a fortune too. It’s probably costume jewelry and it won't sell for a hundred bucks. You can keep it if you want to,” dad replied.
Later, after we finished the basement and moved all the boxes upstairs, my younger brother and sister who are twins approached me with a weird-looking device. "Look what we found?” My little brother Harry said as he showed me the device.
“We plugged it in and turned it on, but it only made a weird buzzing noise,” my sister Violet explained.
“Do you think grandpa was a spy?” my youngest brother Phil said. This made all of us laugh, even Phil.
"Bull…. I mean nonsense,” dad said before correcting himself seeing that mom is here. "That’s my old Atari video game console, I haven't seen it in years,” dad explained as we all looked at him in shock.
“You played video games?” Phil asked, unable to believe what he was hearing.
“That’s a video game console?” Harry added.
“No need to make me feel older than I am,” dad said chuckling.
That day we had dinner in a nearby restaurant, then we went home. At home, I texted Gail, telling her that I had a gift for her. I honestly have no idea how a nerd like me has a girlfriend like her. She was a cheerleader and a queen in our school, yet she is my girlfriend, how crazy is that?
Once she had read my message, she replied saying she couldn't wait to see my gift. I took the necklace and I put it around my neck to view it in the mirror when the gem started to glow, and gold hieroglyphic writing appeared on the gem. It glowed brighter and brighter, and I began to feel faint.
••••••••••••
I woke up to an annoying beeping sound, I couldn't tell what the source of the sound was. With a groan, I opened my eyes and found out that I was in a hospital. My throat was dry as if it was the desert, and my head hurt as if a herd of elephants had walked over it. Something felt wrong with my body, but I just couldn't tell what it was.
The door to the room opened and mom walked in. She dropped her handbag when she saw me, and she immediately ran over to hug me tightly. "I was worried about you, honey,” mom said with tears running down her cheeks.
“Mom, what happened?” I croaked in confusion.
“Well, you had been in a coma for two weeks, and we were worried that you wouldn't wake up. And, well, some changes happened while you were asleep,” mom explained. She looked at me with a guilty expression.
“What changes?” I whispered.
“Your body changed into a girl while you were in a coma, the doctors didn’t know how to stop it. Right now, you’re physically and biologically a female,” mom explained.
“What?” was all I could croak.
••••••••
It had been a day since I left the hospital, and I hadn't left my room since I came home. I didn't know what life had in store for me, but I never thought I would become a girl. How am I going to live like this? I know nothing about being a girl.
I haven't slept so far; I have been searching for a way to go back to my original state but couldn't find anything. All I could think of was the necklace and the glowing gem. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any trace of it, and there are a lot of ancient artifacts from Egypt. I looked on the internet, but I still couldn’t find any reference for this necklace.
"I wish he would just answer my calls.” I heard a conversation just outside of my room.
"I know honey, he didn't talk to anyone since he came back from the hospital. Please, Gail, you are my last hope,” mom explained. I kind of knew what they were talking about, and I felt guilty about it. Mom sounded desperate, and I didn't want to make her sad.
Not a second later passed before I heard a knock on the door. "Jason, can I come in?” Gail asked. She had always been like that, very tough and strong-willed. She would do what she wanted.
Knowing, Gail, I knew I didn't really have a choice but to open that door. She wouldn't leave until I let her in. With a sigh, I left my bed and opened the door for her. "Is it me or did Gail get taller?” I thought as I noticed that Gail is taller than me by an inch or something. It was the opposite before.
“Wow, it's true, you're really a girl,” Gail exclaimed looking at my chest.
I realized that my top was not hiding anything and sat down trying to cover my breasts, which made Gail laugh.
Gail walked into the room, closing the door behind her. "You really make a cute girl, you know? I must be careful, or you guys will try to steal you from me,” Gail joked making me blush.
“I don't make a cute girl, b-beside I don't like guys,” I replied. I could feel my face turning red, while still trying to hide my breasts which are big if you asked me, "God, this is so embarrassing,” I thought to myself.
“Well, that’s a relief, because you are all mine,” Gail said dropping the bags she had with her and kissing me.
“So, what do you think? Does it feel better or what?” Gail asked as she buckled the bra straps behind my back.
It was one of the few items Gail had brought with her. She brought a pair of panties that matched the bra, a pair of girl’s skinny jeans, and a sleeveless tunic top. She wanted me to leave the house and none of my clothes would fit me, except my shoes. I couldn't say no to her when she only wanted to help.
“The bra is a bit tight I guess,” I said nervously. To think that Gail’s bra didn’t fit me?
“Is that so?” Gail inquired sounding irritated. "My boyfriend has bigger boobs than me,” Gail added. This made me laugh hard that I fell on the bed. "Well, at least you’re laughing.”
••••••••••••
“Gail, I am not sure about this. Maybe I should go home, we can do it some other day,” I begged Gail who dragged me into the mall. She insisted on me.
She continued to drag me into the mall. I was so self-conscious, everyone seemed to be staring at me, and it was kind of freaking me out.
“Why is everyone staring at me, Gail? It’s creeping me out.”
Gail just laughed; "Didn’t you look in the mirror? You’re a beautiful girl. You are getting the men hot looking at you and the women are jealous.”
Just as she said that a man and woman were walking towards us. The man stared at me, and the woman punched him in the arm and pulled him away as he continued to start at me.
Gail just laughed and said, “See! I’m right about this.”
I didn’t know what to say. I just sighed and we entered a lingerie store.
A pretty girl came over to greet us. Her eyes got wider as she looked at my chest. She said, “Let me guess, you are looking for a bigger bra.”
I nodded and Gail said, “We also need some panties, garters and stockings and a few different colored pantyhose.”
The salesgirl simply said, “Follow me to the back.”
I entered a curtained changing room, and she told me to take off my top and bra and my jeans. I hesitated, and she smiled and said we are all girls here, don’t be worried.
After I removed my clothes, wearing only my panties, she measured me and told me I needed a 36DD bra. I thought, “I’m on the large side here.” She also told me I had a 24” waist and 35” hips.
She left the room and went to find some bras and panties for me. Gail just looked at me and smiled, “Girl, you have quite a figure, you are putting me to shame.”
I blushed and said, “Well I didn’t seem to have a choice. My body is totally different now. I am shorter and my hands and feet are smaller... Gail interrupted and said, “Yeah, we have to hit some shoe stores too.”
Our salesgirl returned and gave me a bunch of bras in all kinds and colors. She pointed out a few to try on first, and I found they were comfortable to wear. I also tried on push up bras, underwire bras, sport bras, lacy ones, there were so many types and colors it made my head spin. Gail helped me pick them out and we ended up with a couple of dozen bras and panties too.
Gail asked the salesgirl to find us some garters and stockings, as well as a few pairs of pantyhose. Afterwards I left a pair of new panties and a bra on, and we walked out with a bunch of shopping bags.
Next on the list, we hit a few teen clothing stores where I tried on various girl’s jeans, and tops. I also found some workout clothes that fit me well.
Then Gail took me over to a dress store and we picked out a couple of beautiful dresses and gowns.
“I want you to look great when we go out on dates and when we have dinner with my parents.” (They were very wealthy, and always dressed up for dinner.)
I was beginning to worry about how I would pay for all of these new clothes, but Gail just waved her hand. Besides, how the hell would I meet her parents like this?
“Don’t worry, daddy will pay for them all, as I have a huge allowance.”
Next, we went into some shoe stores, and I got runners, flats, kitten heels, high heels, sandals in various styles and colors.
“Why do I need so many shoes? Gail, this is too much.”
Gail laughed and replied, “As a girl, you can never have too many shoes. Don’t worry, you get used to it.”
Again, I just sighed. There was no point in arguing with Gail; she was a force of nature, and there was no stopping her.
By this time, we had hijacked a Target shopping cart, and we had filled it with all the purchases.
“Gail, I think we have shopped enough for today. I am so tired; I can barely stand up.”
Gail smiled, “Ok, you have been through quite a bit, and we still must get your ears pierced, get some fragrances for you, some hair products, makeup, and skincare products too. Not to mention you need some bling. Girl, we'll have to buy you some jewelry. How about we come back to the mall tomorrow?”
I just nodded and we left the mall to find Gail’s car.
Gail drove me home, and I saw dad’s car parked in front of the house which meant he was already home. When I stepped out of the car mom came out to greet us. "Hi, girls how were your shopping?” mom inquired looking at me with curiosity.
“All good Mrs. Carter, me and Jessica had a good shopping day, I think we still need another one on Monday though,” Gail explained making me roll my eyes. I didn't want to go shopping again to buy feminine stuff.
“Jessica?” mom asked with raised eyebrows.
“Oh, yes. I thought it would be embarrassing to call her Jason when no one would think she's a boy,” Gail explained. It wasn’t like we had agreed on the name, but Gail was right. She can’t call me Jason when I don't look like a guy.
I walked to the back of the car to get the shopping bag from the trunk when mom stopped me. "Honey, we don't get the bags, leave it to the gentlemen,” mom informed. I blushed before walking into the house.
We walked into my room as my brothers and dad started unloading the bags and bringing them into my room. I wanted to hide away from my dad and siblings, but Gail wouldn’t let me.
Once dad saw me, he blinked a couple of times not believing his eyes. Dad then smiled before walking over to me and kissing my forehead. "You look beautiful, sweetheart,” dad said taking me off guard. I was not used to this kind of behavior from dad.
Once dad and my brothers had brought all the bags to my room, I closed the door to my room still blushing hard. "What was that?” I asked both Gail and my sister who by now had a wide smirk on their faces.
“That's how daddies treat their daughters,” Gail explained earning a nod from Violet.
“Anyway, you need to try on the clothes we bought so you can decide on what to wear to dinner tonight,” Gail explained as I gave her a confused look. It seems she could read my thoughts, however. "Now that you’re awake from the coma, daddy wants to see you and invited you to dinner.”
"I can't meet your dad like this,” I protested pointed to my whole body. Both Gail and Violet started giggling.
“Of course, you can’t, you have to be well dressed to come to the dinner,” Gail explained with a smile. I have a bad feeling about this.
••••
"This is not fair,” I complained crossing my arms while sitting in front of the vanity table in my sister’s room. Both she and Gail had been working on my makeup and panting my fingernails.
“I know right? It’s not fair that my boyfriend makes a prettier girl than me,” Gail replied making Violet giggle and making me roll my eyes.
“You know what I mean Gail, I can’t meet your dad wearing a dress and pantyhose. This is so embarrassing,” I explained looking at the red dress, the black stockings, and the red high held shoes on my feet.
“Of course, you can, besides you are wearing stockings, not pantyhose,” Gail replied secretly. "Now close your mouth so I can apply lipstick,” Gail instructed. I let out a sigh and complied.
A couple of minutes later, both were done with my makeup. I walked downstairs carefully trying my best not to break my ankle in these high-heeled shoes. "Do I have to wear heels too? They are so annoying,” I complained again but Gail just smiled. How did she convince me to wear a dress and high heel? I don't know.
When we reached the bottom of the stairs, Gail took my arm and led me toward the kitchen where she knew mom was making dinner. I tried to dig my heels into the ground in protest but with the high heels on, I couldn't really do anything.
"Mrs. Carter, what do you think?” Gail asked the moment we entered the kitchen. Luckily, dad was also there with mom.
“Honey, you look beautiful,” mom commented causing my face to turn red from embarrassment.
"Don't you think this dress is a bit too short sweetheart?” Dad noted making me blush even more trying to hide my exposed knees with the dress.
“HOWARD don't embarrass your daughter,” mom secluded dad before turning to me. "Don't listen to him, dear you look just fine,” mom complimented holding my hand. "You look absolutely Gorgeous.”
Dad smiled and walked to me before kissing me on the cheek. "Enjoy your dinner darling, just don't stay after 12, alright?” dad instructed, and I nodded, still a bit confused about everything that was going on.
Without another word, Gail took my hand and pulled me out of the house toward her car. We only stooped to gap my clutch which had fallen off my hand.
“So, how am I going to explain looking like this to your parents?” I asked as Gail turned on the car and started to drive.
“Oh, no worries, mom, and dad already know. I just didn't tell my asshole brother Malcolm,” Gail explained as I looked at her in shock.
“They know? What am I going to do?” I asked, starting to panic.
“Calm down, mom is ok with it, and I think dad is more than ok with it,” Gail explained. "What we need to figure out is the school,” Gail explained making me groan.
