If she's a "top 5 swimmer in the county", she's not getting a full scholarship anywhere. There less then 4000 total available for women, which means roughly 1000 new spots every year. Those spots can be expanded by giving a bunch of partial scholarships, but you'd sure as hell better be nailing the academics part of school. And let's be real, if you're calling yourself "top 5" that means 5th - 10th. But let's pretend shes 5th. That puts her roughly around the 13,000th best swimmer competing for those 1000 spots. Probably much worse, because if she was on anyone's radar they'd talk about her prospect rankings or state/national stats.

I used to avoid episodes about these types of movies but now I really enjoy them as a bastion of sanity. I also really wish I was half as strong/powerful as the phobes thought I was. Maybe I wouldn't be so sore after carrying some heavier than normal groceries up a couple flights of stairs. Keep fighting the good fight!
