So fun fact about the 'morgue wagon' before the 1970s the US didn't really have Emergency Medical Services, and transport for patients who couldn't transport themselves to or from hospital was done either by a police wagon or local funeral homes. So that would be why it has lights and sirens, why they were running them towards the graveyard is inexplicable.

I so desperately want you guys to review “Verotika” the Glen Danzig written and directed anthology film. It’s incredible how inept that film truly is and when it was premiered, people laughed and Glen Danzig allegedly got a little upset about it. So it’s a sincerely a “so terrible it’s good” film.

Not at all, she wanted to create a gimmick that she could in the future sue a vaguely similar but much more successful gimmick. To this day Elvira is still a class act about it.

Also, GAM might be interested to know that one of the porn movies Wood did was about necrophilia. Some guy fucking a cute chick in a coffin. Apparently that was kinda a kink for Wood (as in, he liked the idea, but AFAIK didn't actually do).

I love love love this movie so much. The part I relate to the most is when Eros points out the dangers of solarmanite ("sunlight has lots of atoms", uh, no it does not Eros, I have proof). Then one of the dopey humans considers the military applications. Eros loses his shit and screeches, YOU SEE? YOU SEE?! YOUR STUPID MINDS! STUPID! STUPID! before Gregory Walcott lays him out. That moment, right there, is a perfect encapsulation of humanity. Francis Ford Coppola could never reach such heights, even in Apocalypse Now.
