so the to be father imagines this entire story in where he abandons the mother of his child for not doing an abortion, kills her off in an accident and the kids gets a sad childhood, but cures the father from canvcer. So in the present he only wants the child now because it could benefit him in the future. Get the abortion lady.

My 5 year old boy has been treated for leukemia... 2 years of chemo, relapse, more chemo, radiation and bone marrow transplant. He has been cancer free for 6 months now, so he has a good prognosis. With respect to this movie, I'm just 6 minutes in, and seeing the "cancer kid" with the shaved head... this is not what its like. The kids are depressed, angry, exhausted, sickly, and maybe occasionally can smile. If that kid is getting chemo to the point where he's bald, he would not be the hallway chatting quips about whether the new doc is good enough for him.
