The little girl “ Debbie”, real name Jackey Neyman Jones , wrote a book called “ Growing up with Manos the Hand of Fate, How I Was A Child Star In The Worst Movie Ever Made And Lived To Tell about It” said in her book that the doberman kept rolling over on his back for tummy rubs...so much for hounds from hell. she has a cool painting show on Twitch, where she does paint parties,or one on one instruction, cool lady. A lot of MST3K fans paint portraits of their favorite ‘bots.

Regarding torgos knees and weird voice, I recall hearing once that the plan was for him to be a pagan goat guy, satyr I believe, with backwards legs. But they didn’t know how to do that so they stuffed his pants and made him talk like a billy goat, and thus we end with the glorious torgo

I first saw this movie on MST3K, and I fucking screamed when I saw you guys did this one. This is worth my patronage all by itself. Also, you guys should do the 2003 film “The Gospel Of John,” it’s so goddamn bad. It’s the most whitewashed bullshit I’ve ever seen. They forgot to record some of Jesus' lines, so the narrator has to jump in from time to time to fill in the dialogue. It’s fantastic. Big recommend.

The ending of the movie is even ickier when you learn that your man playing the Master was the little girl's dad in RL. Also, two additional bits of trivia: 1) The guy who made the movie was a fertiliser salesman, and 2) the movie was literally made on a bet that he couldn't make a horror film.

The reason for Torgo's "big knees" was a drug-fueled mistake. No big surprise there. The "prosthetic" (because that's not a legally protected term) legs were meant to convey that Torgo was like a Satyr. The stoned actor wore the prosthetics backwards, giving him the dumb "big knees" look. They were so low budget that once they noticed it, they couldn't go back and reshoot. So they kept it. For continuity they had him wear them the wrong way for the rest of the shoot. The actor being stoned for most of it was probably a good thing because wearing the prosthetics backwards caused him great pain as the metal bits were digging into his thighs whenever he bent his legs even a little bit- which is why his walk is so stiff and awkward.
