Wow! I love this review, especially how badly the movie failed at the Monkey’s Paw. I remember when I was little, I read a kid’s book called Sylvester and the Magic Pebble. The plot is eerily similar to everything having to do with the Wishing Rock in this movie, down to having a character wish he could turn into a rock. Except, in the book, Sylvester (an anthropomorphic donkey child) realizes how monumentally stupid it was to wish he was a rock and thinks of so many better wishes he could have used instead. Sylvester and the Magic Pebble is so much better than WW84. Yikes!

WW84 is pretty terrible, but the first movie is still my second-favorite superhero movie in which a guy named Steve saves the day by crashing a stolen German plane full of WMDS during a world war, sacrificing his own life, only to return several decades later.

The WW1 pilot being able to fly a fucking fighter jet is so stupid on so many levels. I wish that scene was like, he gets in the cockpit all serious looking, starts fiddling around with the buttons like he knows what he's doing... then starts crying his eyes out "I HAVE NO IDEA HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS! WHAT ARE ALL THESE BUTTONS AND GAUGES FOR? BACK IN MY DAY FIGHTER PLANES WERE JUST STRAPPING AN ENGINE AND A GUN TO A BIG KITE!"

Okay here's this thing that's been stuck in my head since I saw the movie. In Wonder woman 1984 everyone gets to wish for what they want to wish for that means that at least one black person in America wish for racism to not exist. There's no way they didn't. With that in mind how the hell did she get everyone to get rid of their wishes? There is nothing that would work to make me undo that wish if I knew it could happen.

Love Noah's shade on Zack Snyder - the fact that his response to this film getting bad reviews was to release a picture of "his" Wonder Woman carrying the severed heads of her enemies to prove how much *better* his version would have been just proves how much worse this could have been if he'd been left with more control over the DC movies, and considering how much of an ongoing car crash they are, that's truly incredible.

So, the radar thing maybe makes sense if you assume invisibility is just non-interaction with electromagnetic radiation (in which case a flashlight would also shine through the invisible jet), since radio waves are just a different place on the spectrum...but as soon as the movie does anything that forces you to think through how the powers are supposed to work it's fucking itself over, since nothing in it makes sense when you start thinking about it.

Slip up when Noah said the sixth sense and not unbreakable. I did like the second new Godzilla movie when you actually saw more monster fighting. This episode was really good, but shows to me that it's impossible to point out all the stupid shit in this movie. I wrote this 3 times trying to point out more but it was just too long. The first WW movie was okay, and it was definitely the best of the recent DC hero movies, but this movie was steaming shit. The fight scenes were garbage which is always great for an action movie. The idea that she could get everyone to renounce their wishes was the least realistic plot point I'd ever heard, and if Max Lord got to choose what he was taking he could've just removed one persons morality and made them too selfish to have it undone.

Also you guys totally missed out on mentioning best/worst attempt to make a sympathetic Donald Trump-esque character. This guy is a constantly failing up scam artist who eventually almost causes the world to devolve into WWIII. It terrified/pissed me off how sympathetic the movie tried to make the villainous asshole simply because he only neglected his child.
