I’m watching some of this on a free movie channel so I can enjoy the episode. I remember watching the trailer for this and saying “oh so it’s just a paranoid racist fantasy”, but now I’m curious for how bad it gets - at least until I shut it off. Edit: the tunnels are clearly a reference back to the insane fucked up shit that happened in tunnels during the Vietnam War. Like “The Americans have no idea what’s going on, but when they find a tunnel entrance they throw a shitton of explosives into it and then send someone into it to murder anyone he finds because they clearly aren’t American” levels of insane.

I had to come back to this post and say that this has become one of my all-time favorite GAM episodes. Noah trying to coach Sly is up there with one of the greatest doodly-doo's you guys have done. "Is everybody ok?" slays me every time

Just a side note: No one noticed that the guys seem to use "Latino" as a skin color... Mexicans aren't Latinos. And while I'm white like many people born in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, etc. We are all Latinos, since we are from latin America. At least use the term properly.

This wasn't even much of a bloodbath compared to the last (2008) Rambo movie, which was basically just Rambo standing in one spot behind a .50 M2HB and turning literally a couple hundred people into hamburger. Although that one was brainlessly entertaining.

Saw this in theater for... reasons. I don't even like Stallone, yet I felt sorry for him by the end of this movie. Painful to watch.

Fridging the girlfriend is the term. It comes from DC comics Green Lantern, where a villian literally killed Kyle Rayners GF and stuffed her in a fridge. It refers to the trope where women are often only included in a story to get killed/wounded/violated in order to motivate the male hero. Glaring examples Deadpool 2, Death Wish series, Paltrow in Seven, most Bond girls.
