Important note: In the past, we've included the monthly bonus as an unpaid post, but after a long hard look over the last few months at how much time we put into our various activities and how much they pay us back for that investment, we've realized that the only real way to continue to provide you a full, quality episode every month is to make a paid post of it.
If that's gonna mess up your Patreon donations, don't worry, there is a workaround that allows you to opt out of paying for these posts, but that still allows you to get them. You can limit your pledge to ensure you won't be charged for more than the four or five episodes you're used to paying for. This might effect mailed rewards, but it's an option for people who can't afford the extra charge every month.

I was a black kid growing up in Gary, IN and we absolutely used the "... dipping in the kool-aid..." When we said it, it was when someone jumps into a conversation that is already in progress and clearly didn't understand that conversation.

I also have no problem paying for this bonus content, but I also wish that it was movie related. It's just weird to have this debate content not on Skepticrat or Scathing, and here. And I do, while I'm complaining, wish there was more of a regular GAM bonus schedule.

Thanks for letting us know, and the limit option is a good way to go if the increase is a problem. By limiting the monthly amount you may lose mailed extras, but still get the podcast content? That's like having another support tier, kind of. That's not much of a change, at all.

I have no problem paying for the secular bonus episodes if they’re on topic. But announcing this change because you spent too much time on Skepticrat content is poor communications. Cancelled my Skepticrat patreon and reduced my GAM funding.

I totally thought we already paid for the monthly movies so: no harm, no foul. I'm also a Canadian but, because these politicians often spout amusing (and horrible) fictions, I think they're appropriate for GAM. :) P.S.: I am glad to watch these from a distance -- I made the mistake of moving to the USA in 2016 and I fear that I caused the election to go to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. @.@

Really hate to complain, but I don't feel like these things belong in the GAM feed. I get it for scathing or skepricrat, but as a Canadian that's tired AF of your primaries already this is not the kind of bonus content I want in my Christian movie podcast. I'm sure it will be well done, and funny. But it's just off topic and for non Americans it's tedious hearing about your 2 year elections on every podcast stream.
