Can't wait for Johnny Lingo. It's is one of my favorite Mormon movies (really more like a show, considering the length). I used to live in Hawaii and met some of the people who were a part of it. Granted, I met them many years after. In fact, one of the nicest guys is Mahana's father. He acts so rude to her but the guy playing him is just wonderful. It seems so odd to see him in that role after meeting him. Also, his singing voice is incredible.

I really liked getting the dropbox downloads. It let me put the podcast onto my `'pod". So much better than sitting at my desk to listen. Great show any rate.

from the Mormonflix page I see they have no choice but to be honest about how bad this film is: "If you can get past all the cheesy songs that they sing, this is a really good movie with a powerful message. The acting is not good at all... ...The film is not meant to win any Oscars. You have to admit that because of its age, it is going to seem a little bit corny. The cinematography chosen is more like they are performing a play. It is really fun to watch the special effects for its time. ...It is at times torture to watch, but you have to remember that you are watching it for its message." If this is positively-spun sugar-coating, I can't WAIT to watch...
