Rarity is best with Twi as a competetive second. And I will never stop rolling my eyes at people who refuse to look past Rarity's surface and then complain that she's shallow.

No offense to Lauren Faust who I know worked hard on season one and was barely involved in season 2 (and gone by season 3) but Season 2 was when the show began to pick up steam in my eyes. The animation got smoother, the stories got stronger writing, and the world just felt more lively with plots that weren't just 'moral of the day' kids lessions (which were still ok, but season 2's stories felt less 'stock' and more things you don't often think about and even some adults needed to be reminded of on occation).
