This anime is SO good. I watched EP 1 while waiting for another anime's episode to air, and ended up missing it because I got so many episodes in. It's nothing short of a work of art, though it does have an issue of lyrics in the dub, since any songs that are sung in japanese don't get subtitles or a dub. But watching the sub is the best idea, so you've got it right!
