Shirt's Forked, or What's Happening for the Next Few Months

If you follow me on Twitter, you've probably already been made at least vaguely aware of the water situation in the basement I've been living in. It's real ugly and it doesn't look to be improving anytime soon.
Rather than let me kind of languish down here with the birds and get pneumonia, my roomies are sort of giving me the boot until this shit gets fixed. It's not permanent. I'm going to talk to some friends this evening and we're going to try and work something out where I can just move a portion of my crap into a corner of their basement and live there for a little while so that my housemates can see about at least patching the floor up so it doesn't squirt water anymore.
They'd just have the whole stupid floor redone, but even just to put in a sump, they were quoted like 7K or so, to say nothing of redoing the floor itself.
I'm not sure how this is all going to affect my workflow, but for now I'm just trying to take it as it comes and not panic too much, which is difficult considering the huge amount of shit I have to do and the number of deadlines that are about to kool-aid man my door in December.
I'll do my best to keep posting and keep you all apprised of the situation. I don't honestly know what all is going to happen but I'm doing my damnedest to not have to move home to my parents' place where I'm pretty sure I'll just end up hanging myself or something.

Update: Just a few clarifications about the situation.
Basically, the situation is that my housemates bought a place in June a couple of years ago. I rent the basement from them as a sort of living/studio space. I don't even particularly love basements, but it's a spot I can inhabit that's out of everyone's way.
The floor has always been kind of terrible since we get the feeling the previous owner just kind of... didn't care about keeping the water under control, and he (likely purposely) neglected to say anything about the situation. There have been some water issues before this, but never to the extent that we're seeing now. Before, there would be some seepage and we'd just dry it out with box fans. This time, the water has literally punched holes in the floor and is just coming up uncontrolled since the ground's been saturated. We tried to plug up the obvious ones, but that just caused everything to be redirected to a couple of squirters along the wall line. There's just no end to this shit.
Thankfully, a couple of friends of mine have come in clutch in the situation and are letting me stay in their spare bedroom for the time being. That means, unfortunately, that I have to leave behind stuff like my printer (no stickers for now) but I'll be taking everything having to do with the Sendak zine with me so I can just put my focus into getting that done and over with finally. Then I can use this time away to work on commissions since there'll be relatively fewer distractions. Hopefully.
I'm having a huge hindsight moment in that I'm wishing I'd gotten more stuff done sooner. Wish I'd gotten medicated for this mental shit sooner, wish I'd finished work sooner, wish I'd shipped out the zine sooner, wish I'd done everything sooner so I can move on with my life, save for a car, a house, whatever. I hate feeling like I'm a polyp on the ass of my friends and the sooner I'm done with this, the better.
I'll continue to keep you all updated as I can. I'm going to do one last boss rush from here, I think, and then I'm going to pack my shit up and get out of here for the time being. I fucking hate having to do this, but I guess I hate the possibility of pneumonia more.
