Here. Oh well. I wasn't really attached to whatever I was doing before. Let's see how this plays out.

Crossover:
The world you're going to is now a crossover universe. With characters from shows, movies, games, and books that you recognize possibly appearing. As a result, some events of canon could change. Say for instance you are put in dragon ball, but it is crossed over with DC, Frieza might have been the cause of Krypton's destruction. The level of danger this debuff offers is dependent on many factors, such as the strength of the original universe or by how much it would modify the world.

Enhanced Race: {Kitsune}:
You have unlocked the 'Advanced' Kitsune race. A near ageless being that naturally grows more powerful the older it gets and more tails it grows. As a result, you cannot take the 'Magical Tail' feat and must earn your tails through gaining rewards via quest, leveling up, or by waiting 100 years.
That is... huh. Alright not too bad. I don't really know where I'm going though. Another!

Au World:
Something key in your world has shifted. Maybe the main character is now a girl, maybe the mcguffin they need is in another location. Maybe the bad guys aren't incompetent idiots.

Significant Other:
Out there in the world are those whom you are destined to be with! You're connected by fate. You'll likely meet them often and mesh well with their personality. The number of people you are connected to are random, typically 1 or maybe even 2 for most worlds. This number is potentially increased depending on the world selected.
Come on! I need something GOOD. Give me something powerful. Waifus are cool and all but I want a better start!

Some faction somewhere REALLY wants you dead for one reason or another.

You may combine two classes into one new class, swapping out certain class features and powers of one class in exchange for class features of another of the same level.

I really don't know where I'm going. It could be anything from a mundane world's Yakuza to the Red Ribbon Army in dragon ball.
Either way, with a D&D system I'd likely be forced to deal with them anyways.

Your first 5 levels may not be in a class that grants you an MP pool. This does not limit you from taking classes that have other resource pools, such as Ki, Kenki, Luck, or Stamina.
SHIT! Thats bad... kind of... I mean... actually?
Final Fantasy D20 makes a bunch of the non-magical classes viable and really powerful so it's not that much of a downside what did I get in exchange?

In-World Feats and Prestige Classes:
In most worlds, with this system, you'd be limited to simply what the system gives you. Now when being inserted into a world new feats and prestige classes may be generated for you to use, such as a 'Haki' feat in one piece or a prestige class based around honing the Rokushiki.
Thats... really good, actually. Alright, totally worth the debuff of no magic for five levels.

You're a pirate! Well, not really, but you'd rock a mean eye patch and hook hand! Because, well... you no longer have your non-dominant hand and have lost an eye.
SHIIIIIIT that's actually REALLY bad.
There's some later options that can regrow arms and eyes but they're magical. Something I probably won't be able to get until like level fifteen at the earliest with my other debuff.

You are skilled with the blade... or spear... or gun! With this trait you are treated a 'Martial Class' which can make use of the combat styles in Path of War, you start with any 2 of your choice, gaining a number of readied stances and maneuvers per level according to this chart. In addition, you can take feats from this book as well.
I gaze at the large chart opening before me.

I look at the figure floating before me. Quite tall, white hair that covers one of his eyes, a smug little smile. Smug little eyes that make him look a little similar to one of those fox masks. He wears a simple black long sleeved shirt, dark pants, and simple shoes.
he has a simple prosthetic hand, slightly hook-like. It looks like one of those that open and close kind of like tweezers.
Advanced Kitsune: {Dxd}
Ability Score Modifiers: +4 Str, +6 Dex, +4 Con, +2 Cha
Type: Kitsune are 'Youkai', and have the shapechanger subtype.
Languages: Kitsune begin play speaking Japanese and English. Kitsune with high Intelligence scores can choose any currently used human language.
Magical Racial Traits:
Shape Changer:
Unlike Pathfinder Kitsune whom are bipedal foxes, Dxd Kitsune look like humans just with some additional features. Regardless, you still need to be able to hide these features. A kitsune can assume the appearance of a specific single human form of the same sex. The kitsune always takes this specific form when they use this ability. A kitsune in human form gains a +20 racial bonus on Disguise checks made to appear human. Changing shape is a standard action. This ability otherwise functions as alter self, except that the kitsune does not adjust her ability scores and can remain in this form indefinitely.
Foxy Form:
The Advanced Kitsune gains the 'Fox Form' feat at level one regardless of prerequisites, in addition the kitsune can decide on the size of the fox they want to be as Beast Shape 2. this improves to Beast Shape 3 at 10th level and the Mythic 'Augmented' Beast Shape 3 at 16th level.
Tailed Beast:
Kitsune grow more powerful the more tails they have, a Kitsune gains a bonus to all stats equal to 1+1 for every tail that they have.
Yep.
That was worth the AU drawback.
I have stats about on par with a mid-level character at just level one. That's kind of badass!
Annnnnd it'll be something I'll need if I want to survive the hellscape that I'm apparently entering...

Fuuuuah... alright. Gotta figure out some way to get a magical prosthetic or the 'Regenerate' spell.
I mean, I HAVE technically solved it. I've made a character. The general idea is to fix whatever I fucked up with my reckless gambling while also being quite strong in combat.
With this class I should be able to build myself a new arm as soon as I get a little time to myself and some materials.

The first thing I notice as my consciousness returns is a throbbing pain radiating out from my body.
Everything hurts.
'where the hell-'
Memories that aren't my own rest within my head.
Flashes. Figments.
Shards of memory like broken glass.
I let out a low hiss as I crack my eyes open, everything is slightly blurry, dull lances of pain arc throughout my entire body. It's as if every single muscle in my body had been torn all at once.
I blink slowly and look around. 'wh- something's wr-'
I reach up and touch a large bandage over my right eye.
'what? What the hell?'
I bring up my right hand to feel around my head.
Nothing is there.
A blood soaked bandage is all that is left past a couple inches past my elbow.
My hand is gone.
Holy shit my hand in gone.
My vision blurs as I sway slightly, suddenly feeling extremely light headed, my breaths come out in quick pants.
The door is flung open as I suddenly feel myself wrapped in a tight hug.
"Shhh..." A woman's voice soothingly shushes as she pets the back of my head. "I know... I know..."
"My arm! I-I-it-"
I droop suddenly, as if my body was a puppet that had its strings cut, practically falling into my comforter's grasp.
My mind finally catches up with the visceral reaction of my body. The last few shards of this body's previous consciousness whipping me up into a blind panic before the cold rationality of 'oh yes... I did this to myself with my gambling addiction' comes to the forefront of my mind.
My body has a history. That much is plain to see. I didn't just... spawn in... missing an eye and an arm. I seemingly lost them... and judging by the blood-stained bandages, lost them recently.
I let out a strained whimper, my ears flattening to my head. I can feel tears unwillingly welling in my uncovered eye.
"You're going to be okay." The voice soothes. "Everything's going to be okay."
I manage to get my erratic heartbeats and breathing under control after around ten minutes.
My emotional outburst has seriously waned on my mental fortitude and my stamina.
One little panic attack and I feel like I had run a marathon... my body's current condition certainly didn't help. My body feels weak, apparently 'Yokai Bane' weapons are a lot more damaging to yokai than I would have thought- ah. That's a memory I didn't have. Youkai-bane weapons? Is that why I feel like such shit? I'd imagine something like that would more or less be poison to someone like myself.
I can finally get a good look at the person who was at my bedside.
A black-haired woman with her hair tied up into two long pigtails with pink ribbons sits on the bed beside me, she is merely clad in lacy black underwear, but at the moment... I can't even build up the energy to ogle her.
A nigh depressed expression rests on her face as she sorrowfully looks over my body, her voice barely comes out as a whisper. "I'm sorry I couldn't save your arm... but at least I saved your life."
She runs her hands through my hair. "B-But don't worry! I'll be sure to help you every step of the way on your recovery!"
Is that-
"…"
'God.'
No pain?
Am I not a devil?
She kept me as-is? That's... interesting. I could have sworn she might have used that as an excuse to reincarnate me.
"So... what's your name?" The woman asks.
I silently stare into her eyes for a moment. "Is... my eye gone too?"
She doesn't respond for a moment and looks down to the bed sheets.
"Oh..." I hollowly whispers.
I remain, staring at the bed for an extended period of time before looking up. "Oh. And my name is Nagure... I think... everything is so... muddled..."
"You poor thing." The devil whispers, hugging me again.
Serafall Leviathan...
I am in the presence of SERAFALL LEVIATHAN. One of the four leaders of the devil race.
"Who are you?" I ask slowly. "And- t-thanks..."
"I'm Serafall Sitri, the overseer for this town." The woman replies. "I'm sorry that I wasn't there in time... I-I failed you."
Sitri?
Oh god. Please don't let me be stuck over five hundred years in the fucking past.
"At least I'm alive." I mutter under my breath, looking to my remaining hand.

I sit in bed, a tray in my lap as I quietly eat soup.
Well.
I'm not in the past... thankfully.
The last twenty four hours have been... quite disorientating if I do say so myself.
Kind of hard to think with my eye throbbing so much.
or rather, the socket. Eye's fucked, of course.
The Serafall Sitri thing is apparently just some AU bullshit.
"Nagure?" I hear my name being called out as I glance to the door.
Serafall opens the door and peers inside. "Someone is here to meet you."
I stare into her eyes for a moment.
"Okay?" I mutter.
The door fully opens, revealing a woman with long white haired tied up into braids, she has red eyes and wears an elaborate black dress that leaves her stomach exposed, her impassive business-like stare softens as she looks over my frail looking form.
"This is Grayfia Leviathan." Serafall announces as she gestures to the woman. "She is the Satan of foreign affairs."
"Oh. H-" I raise my right arm and pause, letting out a quiet sigh as I lift my left hand and allow my other arm to fall limply. "Hello..."
The woman gives me a pitying look, her eyes straying to my tail that swishes on the bed beside me.
"Greetings, Nagure... was it?"
I nod once.
"Are you aware of where you are?" She questions. "Serafall has told me that you have had some memory issues."
"Not particularly... Japan?" I answer.
The woman lets out a quiet sigh. "I see... and those men chasing you? What about them? Do you know anything about them?"
"I don't... remember." I whisper as I meekly look down at the floor.
"I see... that's a shame." The woman sighs. "Serafall managed to capture a few of them. We'll just be forced to interrogate them, then. I'm sorry for bothering you. I'll leave you to your meal."
She turns, and quickly retreats out the door, Serafall lingers for a moment. "Sorry for interrupting your meal, 'Gure~ but maybe we'll be able to get back at those bad people who did this to you!"
"Mhm." I idly hum as I watch her leave and close the door behind her.
I gaze down at my soup. I've gotten over my eye. And my hand.
The eye's kind of the tricky part, but the hand? I'm kind of waiting until I get an opportunity to go all mad scientist and build myself a hand like I'm punished snake.
Wait.
Eye patch.
Robotic hand.
I'm pretty much Venom Snake.
Anyways, I just need materials...
Maybe Serafall will give me some if I ask, she seems to like me quite a bit.

Pov: elsewhere.
"This is quite a strange call, I thought I told you devils that the yokai faction doesn't wish to speak after what you did." A blonde woman huffs as she sits atop a massive plush seat in the middle of a throne room, a crystal ball floats before her, showing the face of a devil. The white haired satan of Foreign Affairs, Grayfia Leviathan.
"Yasaka... something has happened related to a Yokai that I felt needed your attention." The white haired woman on the other side begins.
"What have you devils done this time?!" The woman with two fox-like ears atop her head snarls loudly. "Perhaps some devil nobody raped a Yokai and forced them to join their peerage?! Do I need to call her again?"
"We... are not the cause of this issue... for once..." The white haired woman announces. "Yet it is still an incredibly important issue that I believe you should be made aware of, as it happened in one of our towns."
"Hm?" The nine tailed frowns, not sounding interested in the slightest.
"Exorcists from one of the five principal clans brutally pursued, assaulted, and maimed a kitsune with yokai slaying weapons... not merely spirit exorcising weapons, Anti-Yokai weaponry."
"What?" The woman hollowly whispers. "I thought that the Yokai factions made it perfectly clear, under no circumstances are ANY yokai slaying blades to be made. If they need to kill a savage yokai, they must manage through other means, you are telling me that they broke this agreement?!"
Yasaka rises to her feet, her tails lashing out behind her in silent wrath.
"The worst part is, they did this to an innocent boy, barely even fifteen." The white haired Satan of foreign affairs announces.
"A male kitsune?!" Yasaka whispers.
There is a reason that most Kitsune legends portray the fox spirits as beautiful women... it's because that naturally there's a far higher chance that kitsune children are born female. the number of male Kitsune the leader of the West Yokai Faction has heard of can be listed on a single hand with fingers left over... and all are long since dead.
The five principal clans have no idea what they have just unleashed.
"How badly hurt is he?" The woman demands as she glares at the orb. "And which clan did this to him?"
"He is in... poor condition." Grayfia weakly supplies. "His right arm was severed just beneath the elbow and his right eye is unrecoverable."
The Kyuubi's eyebrow twitches as Grayfia continues. "As for who did it. We have captured some of the members that survived Serafall's outrage and I and currently in the process of deciding on how I should go about this. From what we were able to determine, they seem to be from the Kushihashi Clan"
"Tch." The Yokai growls. "I see."
The woman suddenly inhales then exhales. "No, I shouldn't be angry with you. Your actions are reasonable for a faction that is on tense terms with the five principal clans... like all non-Japanese factions are, if you send them to us, I promise you, those clan members will be executed, so you must keep them alongside you until it comes a point in time where you must decide to give them back to the Kushihashi clan or to the Yokai factions."
Her hand lightly cracks the arm rest of her chair as she grits her teeth. "Keep them healthy, alive, and unbroken... because when I get my way and when you are able to give them to us, I will take personal pleasure in sending them screaming to their maker."
"I will take note of your suggestion." Grayfia nods once. "I believe that this is all-"
"Before we end this... there is one thing I wish to know." The kitsune quickly cuts in.
"Yes?" The Satan questions.
"how many tails does he have?" The blonde asks.
"One." Grayfia replies with a small nod.
The Kitsune freezes in place.
One?! That's- a Kitsune physically cannot gain a humanoid form unless it has TWO tails. A one tailed Kitsune should be nothing more than a slightly larger than normal fox with some slight magical abilities.
Wait... there is one way that it could happen...
Yasaka herself was never locked to her fox form. She could always transform. It took her hundreds of years to grow her tails, but eventually she went from a one tailed Kitsune all the way to what she is now, the sole shield of the western yokai faction. One of the- quite long- list of reasons as to why most supernatural races don't mess with Yokai as she herself is capable of fighting off some of the five dragon kings.
That's not even mentioning her. The leader of the northern Yokai faction, is perhaps an even larger deterrent than the nine tailed woman, but she digresses, that woman is a horrifying aberration with powers that make no sense.
This boy, he must be just like the kitsune woman... he has the potential to become a Kyuubi without being born into it.
"Soon. I shall go to Kuoh to visit the young fox. This is nonnegotiable. I am giving you warning in advance, so I would appreciate it if you would convey my statement to the overseer of the town."
"Hn." The Satan hums, cautiously frowning slightly after seeing the yokai's sudden shift in mood from wrath to eagerness.
With that, the call ends.
Another Kyuubi of Yasaka's caliber is just what the western yokai faction needs.
Maybe... Kunou could gain a friend as well? Maybe more than a friend?
It's a rare opportunity for a true pure blooded kitsune to be born.
One that hasn't happened since the yokai leader's parents! And those were merely a four tailed and a five tailed! What would happen if two nine tailed foxes were to have a child...
She has always wanted to give Kunou a little sibling... or have a grandchild herself!

Pov: returned
I slowly walk forwards, glancing through the empty hallways. I am finally well enough to wander. The pins and needles are gone. now I just feel... kind of weak. But not necessarily unwell. Like my arms and legs fell asleep and I'm feeling a little weak at the knees.
Serafall is leading me by my undamaged arm, gesturing to all of the nearby rooms. "Most of these are unoccupied at the moment, just some simple bedrooms. Nothing too impressive."
"This on the other hand." The woman states as she opens two large double doors revealing a massive room. A stunning table is at the forefront, made of some beautifully carved wood that is slightly reddish in color, a large stained-glass window sits at the end of the rectangular room, the curtains around it are drawn back allowing it to cast multiple-colored hues across the floor and table as sunlight glimmers through it.
"Welcome to the dining room, Gure-tan~" the woman smiles brightly.
I mean... it's pretty, but...
It's just a room?
The woman frowns, seemingly disappointed at my lack of reaction.
"Fiiine I can see how this room might not be so cool." The woman pouts as she leads me along the edge and through another pair of double doors.
I allow myself to be tugged through the hallways as she leads us to another room and opens the door.
First off, I can tell that it is quite dark, she leads me through the room, causing me to fall silent as I fully comprehend what this room is. "You have an in-home theatre?!"
The woman smiles at my surprise. "Yep! Wanna watch something Gure."
"It's better than sitting in my room all day." I weakly sigh as the woman beams me a bright smile and tugs me over to a large sofa and carefully sits me down.
"I'll be right back!" She beams as she turns and skips away, leaving me alone in the room.
I sit in silence for a moment.
I feel a slight shift to the couch, causing my ear to twitch slightly as turn and glance to the seat beside me.
"H-Hello?"
A ripple passes over the spot beside me as a girl appears, she has long silky black hair, pale skin, and coal-grey eyes. She wears a subtle black hoodie and jeans, she tilts her head slightly as she looks over me, then waves as a smile crosses her face.
"Hi..." I weakly greet back. "Uh... so who are you... what's your name?"
She points up, causing illusionary writing to appear above her fingertip. "My name is Noire, I'm Serafall's rook."
"Okay." I mutter quietly. "My name is Nagure."
"Nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too." I reply.
The screen in front of us whirls to life as Serafall rushes back into the room with an oversized bag of popcorn and two drinks. "I got snacks!"
She pauses as she sees Noire sat beside me.
"Neo? What are you doing here."
Wait... what? Oh... she lied. That's... kind of... egh...
The black haired girl flinches at her name being called out, her eyes stray towards the side of my head, but I don't show any real reaction.
Serafall's eyes dart between myself and Neo as a slightly smug smirk crosses her lips. "Ooooh? Do you want to watch a movie with us?"
Neo nods once.
"Okay~" Serafall smiles brightly. "Any particular reason why you want to? A reason that coincides with something you have so vehemently denied in private?"
Neo's gaze hardens slightly.
"Do you perhaps have a cruuuush-"
Neo lunges forwards and covers the woman's mouth with a scathing glare.
"A crush?" I mutter with a slow blink. "On me?! I don't think I've ever met her before."
The black haired girl waves her hands in front of herself in denial.
"Hm. Fair. " I shrug with a slight frown as I pull my knees up to my chest, causing Serafall's smug smirk to fall and turn into a light glare.
"Don't be sad, Nagure. Neo was just fibbing because she's EMBARRESSED! She watched over you and protected you practically the entire time you were unconscious! She looked so concerned! It was sooo sweet, riiiiight Neo?"
A small blush crosses the girl's cheeks as she shatters like glass.
She's gone.
"Don't worry about her." Serafall states as she sits down beside me, sitting the large bag of popcorn between the two of us. "She's just really shy."
"Okay?" I mutter. "But who was she... exactly?"
"Oh! She's my rook!" The black haired woman beams.
"Is she strong?" I question.
"MHM!" She nods. "She used to be one of Titania's royal guards! She's SUPER strong."
"Wait... Titania as in..." I mutter under my breath.
"The Fairy Queen!"
I stare for a moment.
So. Serafall has a fairy rook. Neat.
