Thank you!! We have a few variants of the same animation so not all Paras play the same. Also, because they need to walk to their position before starting the animation. not all Paras get to their position at the same time so they don't start the animation at the same time either :)

The paramaker items look great as always and I'm loving the town so far! Personally, I am totally happy with the shops being rabbit holes but I think it would be amazing if they did have gameplay value. Maybe you could use the shops to unlock clothes and hairstyles. I'm not sure how to clearly explain this 😅 but these are just some ideas of how it could possibly work Clothes: Obviously when you originally create your para you will have access to everything. However, when accessing the paramaker after that, maybe you initially only have access to the clothes your para is wearing. Their wardrobe is small. But you could increase their wardrobe by buying clothes at the shop. The purchased items would then always be permanently unlocked for that para, always available for your para when you open the paramaker. Hair: You could do something similar with hairstyles. Again, when originally creating your para you would have access to everything. But when accessing the paramaker after the initial creation, all paras will only ever have access to 5 hairstyles at any time, or 5 hair 'slots'. These 5 hairstyles could be chosen during the initial character creation. However you could use the hairdresser's to change WHICH 5 hairstyles are available in the paramaker. Sort of similar to how BG3 tackles spells. In BG3, your character might have 5 spell 'slots' but you can change which 5 spells you currently have equipped. So for example, maybe I chose hairstyles A, B, C, D and E when I created my character. During gameplay, I can use the paramaker to switch between these chosen hairstyles whenever I want. But if I maybe want to change things up for my para, I could go to the hairdresser's and maybe swap hairstyles A and B for hairstyles F and G. Now, I have a different set of 5 hairstyles that I can switch between when I want (hairstyles C, D, E, F and G). I think a system like this would incentivise players to go into town to use the shops without making the paramaker feel too limited during gameplay.

I absolutely LOVE all your buildings in this game. Such wonderful detailed artistry and care. No to mention that this kind of architecture is among my personal favourites! In the dance picture every single Para seems to be dancing with their own unique style. Most games I see see (also outside life sim) when the game has characters doing the same thing, they usually end up synchronised, which isn't particularly realistic. How did you accomplish that? Is it individually done specially for this photo, or do you just have so much variety in your dance moves that you can set 7 Paras dancing at slightly different times and count on them all looking different in the snap shot? Does this mean if we, in game, set a lot of Paras dancing, they won't end up unrealistically in sych?

I hope this isn't too much to ask but could we get alts for the big shop windows where they are exactly like in the reference images? Talking about the top glass tiles being changed into wood. I think having variations of these windows would be so nice to have! Maybe even ones that have no middle huge glass tile and be a passageway (like a doorway arch). I'd love to have some variations for those! Image what we could build with these?! They're so pretty! 😭😭

Thanks for the good feedback, I totally see what you mean! We plan to improve roof tools during the Early Access to allow more customization like that, same for floor thickness

I love what we've seen for build mode so far, but a little critic is that when it comes to roofs and floors, they tend to end up looking a little thin. Like the side of the roof that's hanging look very thin. Is there anyway as a player I could extend the white borders there or thicken up the roof myself? Also I'm very excited for the showcase. Literally counting down the days!

I imagine the purpose of that is to hide the fact that there’s nothing on the inside for most buildings, so for consistency they have it the same for L’Amoire. But maybe having more transparent windows for visitable lots would make it more obvious that your paras can go to them

SO EXCITED 😍 I'm following the journey of Paralives for several years now and it's amazing to see the progress you made. The game still looks so beautiful and you can tell how much passion everyone of the team puts into creating it. I really hope my laptop will run the game 🤩 And I'm also curious if the game manages to keep me playing for longer than a few days. I'm more into live mode and get quickly bored playing the game of the competition.. 😂

Ooohhh, such a great post!! I think town posts are my new favourite because everything just looks so amazing!!! 😍 Not to say the PAM stuff isn't great, just the town stuff manages to beat that high bar! I just love how tight together everything is on the rooftop patio - it looks so realistic! Have you had a chance to playtest the layout? What I mean is: is all the furniture accessible and usable the way it's currently placed? That would just be the cherry on top of a very amazing cake! And don't think I didn't notice that you have living quarters on top of a shop 😉 I know you're not aiming for mixed use lots for Early Access, but I have to admit it gives me a lot of hope you might try for it in the future 🤞 Either way, it gives so much life to the building!! Oh, and fitted cargo pants guy... when is he and Jason becoming official? 😉 Heck, throw in pink shirt jean shorts guy while we're at it!! 😁 Amazing work, as usual.
