Since nobody else is saying it. i propose a paranoid/cospirancy vibe. it occur to me that those parafolks who has it will be questioning eveything they'll be constantly stress out. having existencial crisis. i think is a perfect oportunity to make a meta joke where they believe they're part of a simulation. hehe they also tend to believe in supernaturals even thou it's not in the game yet. parafolks around them will feel stress more easily. what do you guys think?.

The devs said they won't release a demo because they want to focus entirely on the game. And, because they're only a small team of 13 people, they don't have the capacity to "lose" a few of those people for a demo. The main game would take much longer (which I don't care about as long as you get good quality, but there are already complaints saying that the team has been working on it for 6 years and it still hasn't been released... 😮‍💨🤦‍♀️) so I personally understand it and don't think it's a bad thing.

LOVE the animations!! i agree with what a couple of other comments are saying abt the Gloomy animation, seems more irritated then sad. i have a few suggestions for more Vibes "Head-in-the-Clouds" "Paranoid\Meticulous" and "Cocky" or "Egotistical" i would love to see! (Flirty was also a really good comment so I'm signing the petition LOL)

Loved the animations! Amazing showcase as always!!! Milo is sooo cute, and love that the animations actually feel real, and not flashy and exaggerated Completely non related, though - it could be very fun for gameplay if life events could change a Para’s vibe. Such as, an overjoyed Para became a widow(er) after a tragic accident, and became gloomy or grumpy instead. I feel like these changes can make the characters feel more alive That being said, amazing work on the animations 😍 can’t wait to see more

These look great and are an amazing way to add personality to our characters. My only feedback is that "overjoyed" isn't really a trait, it's an emotion that comes and goes. In fact, it's specifically a peak emotion, not a lasting state, so it looks weird to always be overjoyed. I hope you are able to add more vibes so we can really fine-tune our characters. For example I would like to see mysterious, aloof, proud, sweet, and sultry (not really the same as flirty, which would also be nice to have) .

Vibes can influence the strength of emotions your parafolks get, the kind of wants they get, they can help you with various systems (jobs, skills, relationships) in different ways, they'll also come through with different specific together cards. The eyes movement is on point! These animations look great 💚 English is not my native language so I might be wrong but, isn't gloomy supposed to be more sad looking? Gloomy looks more annoyed or angry than sad, maybe the eyebrows should be positioned differently 🤔

I was taken aback by how understated the animations were for each vibe, I'm not mad at it, I think I'm just so used to how over the top the emotional animations are in the sims 😅 If I had one critique it's that the gloomy vibe is giving more irritated than it's giving gloomy. Just my two cents!

I can’t wait to see all the different personalities around community lots, it’ll feel a lot more like people existing in the space rather than just waiting for their autonomy to kick in. I’m not sure if it was answered previously, but does Vibe only influence animations (similar to walk-styles) or does it have gameplay implications regarding wants/whims, etc? I am starting to see how the systems all play off of each other and I’m excited for the unique results we can come up with!

I like that it seems like you're going with an approach that there are no inherently "negative" vibes and personalities, but they can be negative if you want them to be, if that makes sense. Like, in the sims, I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of a lot of my neurodivergent traits being casted as "negative" ones to counteract the good "positive" ones. Like I too want mean interactions and negativity too, like other people, but idk, I think your approach still has space for that without stigmatizing certain traits :DD Anyway, love the post!

My questions are almost always about customization, ha ha. So for today I ask: can we "turn off" this idle animations if we want? So that the character stays absolutely still (until the autonomy kicks in)? (maybe it's an option that can help if we have older PCs or want the game to consume less resources?) Thanks for the post!
