I will admit, I am one of the redditers who has refused to update after my post. I wasn't deemed the asshole, but you see comments waaaaaay before a decision is made. The first people to hop on AITA posts are MEAN and say horrific things that are completely unrelated and inaccurate (one example I saw was something like, "no wonder your baby died since you're such a shitty wife"). These comments get buried and down voted over time, but having them as the first feedback you see is so hurtful. Most don't see these comments, as they only notice the post when it is popular. I didn't even realize I was voted NTA until after I deleted my account feeling like shit about myself. I didn't want to give the trolls anymore of my time or energy. This is one of the reasons why I don't want to post on Reddit anymore and why I just want to share my juicy story with Morgan directly 😋

I’ve never sent flowers before so idk, but maybe he assumed his name would automatically be attached as the sender? Like obviously he had to give all his info to the flower shop, so unless he specifically told them to keep it anonymous then I could see it as just a miscommunication or after thought, if that makes sense? That said, it’s still weird that he didn’t immediately clear things up and apologize for the confusion. And personally I’d probably send a text to sis to be like “yo I sent you something :)”
