Love the pod and have followed along for years now, but please try to remember that you have listeners that don’t necessarily agree with your political views (which is totally fine. We all have the ability to fast forward or stop listening.) and we don’t want to feel bashed or hated when we’re coming to get away from the world a little. Just my POV. I dont love most dynamics between stay at home parents and 1 working parent. It's hard, because yes the working parent works hard for the money and earns it all, but it is THEIR money. Howerver, I do understand discussing where the money goes. My husband and I are in a very unique situation where I am a sahm, but I have land that my parents gave me that I rent out, so technically in our financial situation, I'm the main breadwinner. My husband also refs hockey games for a little extra cash that all goes straight into savings, very handy going into the holiday season. He manages the finances and we discuss things that are coming up "I'll need gas in the car, I have this appointment, child has this appointment, kids have daycare this day," etc. But we're also doing the Dave Ramsay thing and well on our way to becoming self made millionaires.

I understand that you're afraid, but I truly think you will be able to get married! The Supreme Court ruling that ensured gay marriage rights in the entire country CANNOT be touched by the president. That necklace story is so infuriating. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt when he talked about tallying up his hobby money. but THEN he admitted the friend helped PAY FOR THEIR RENT a few times with her 100k-200K salary!! and ALSO gives wife a credit card to take care of home and the kids, but she "Has to talk to him" about non-essential purchases. But his impulse buy of a 6K car doesn't count cause they use the car. This friend paid for your rent and also spends 100% of every outing Wife and her does. give her the money for the necklace cause you actually owe her.

If anyone is ever concerned about scams (in the USA) check out the federal trade commission website. The people who makes them directly benefit from buy in so they look so legit sometimes! I have 11 years of STEM education and have almost been phished multiple times. A few of my colleagues and a LOT of my patients have almost been scammed as well but people get really embarrassed to talk about it. She’s still not the asshole for sure! Just wanted to post in case anyone needs resources! Sometimes (rarely) they can get your money back.
