As a DV survivor, I will say that Ana’s nervous system may be wired to freeze (there are multiple Fs including fawn) in stressful situations. You don’t want to poke the bear (AKA violent asshole). Also, I doubt OP looked at his watch and saw that it was two minutes. Time can feel longer in situations that are awkward or stressful. This could explain why they just stared at each other for “two minutes”—it was probably more like 30 seconds.

I had my son when I was 19 and overall the birth part of my experience was pretty easy. It felt like I pushed for 2 minutes, but I’m not sure how long it actually was. I didn’t rip or tear or anything like that. I had the epidural which helped immensely. The whole process of the epidural was probably the scariest part of it all

Oh hellllll NO. Who just walks around mostly naked in someone’s home?? There’s just no way this was an accident. Also, I would be livid if my husband failed to mention this to me.. especially if it wasn’t mentioned right away. I wouldn’t have given her the benefit of the doubt too many people get away with so much with bad intentions. This whole situation just feels so off!

I work at an Axe throwing place and almost everytime a guy brings a girl on a first date they always forget to tell them to wear something sporty. A good half of those women show up real cute, short skirt crop top with no bra and they always look so uncomfortable when they have to go pick up their Axe without flashing anyone. You also have to bring your arms above your head to throw, so if you are wearing a small crop top with no bra everybody's getting a free show.

We are a “no iPad” household but we have 2 exceptions - plane rides and road trips. If we are in the car for more than 2 hours or on a plane my kids are allowed unlimited iPad time for everyone’s sanity 😂❤️

As a Latina there’s a big sense of needing to pull your weight when someone is hosting you it’s possible that during the week she was away the friend felt like she should pick up slack as the woman (Latino culture can be very engrained in gender roles) and was trying to take care of things for her friend while her friend was gone. But if the husband now feels uncomfortable with her there, regardless of the reason then that’s reason enough for her to go

Then she gets here I'm a stay at home mother do all the house work, do all the kid work (now she's in school I also do school with her because she's cybered schooled) 2 years ago I started being a school bus driver to help with bills. Completely agree about the friend playing house with the husband. I was so uncomfy and the friend probably needs to find a new place to stay. It sounds like it would escalate in the future and she would get more confident with her moves.
