I don't see this as being a one time thing. He'll keep trying to "prank" her for future events. It would probably always stay in the back of her mind as the months and years go by, wondering if he'll prank her again, and upping the pranks.

This man-child will be the first to make any important event a chance for a prank. How could you enjoy an anniversary dinner, a birthday, a promotion celebration, without fear of this happening again? If she had not discussed this ahead of time, I could MAYBE give the groom some grace. The cake smash happens at many weddings.... but if it is ever done with explicit knowledge that the other party will be upset about it, that is just disgraceful. Bully's gunna bully.
