I’m 29 and use kids plates. I can’t stand my food touching unless it’s roast & mashed potatoes. Or I’ll eat one thing and go back and put a new thing on my plate in a different spot lol

This is bizarre! My total family was non traditional though. All the men cooked in my family, so my grandpa uncles and dad would do all the cooking then my mom and aunts would do the dishes and my grandma and her sister would get to relax and enjoy the party. I can’t understand making this poor woman deal with this man’s temper tantrums.

I feel this mom oh so much, I'm 29 & this is me because my husband's parents were so traditional the house has to be clean and dinner needs to be done by the time he gets off work. & we do holidays at our house and everything is my job, I have now stopped pulling out the fancy stuff and now use those Styrofoam trays that way they also have something to take their leftovers in.
