As someone whose first time hearing the coconut story was Chris Klemens’ first guest ep, I can say I was just as mortified as he was hearing the story for the first time. Now hearing it with these ICONIC funny men I’ve seen on TikTok, I tune the story out and wait for their reactions. Morgan, all you can do is warn people. And you did. If you don’t want to hear the story again, just don’t listen. People need to relax, you’re telling me you’ve never seen a sequel or remake to a movie and not enjoyed even some parts of it? #calmdownfam

It’s totally fine to give input but she already mentioned that she was just trying to break the ice with them since she just met them. I think showing them the most famous and grosser reddit hall of fame stories is a good intro to her podcast and what she loves doing, which is a lot of eliciting reactions to absurd stories. I personally find it endearing.

I don't think giving input on stories is bossing anyone around; the majority of the comments are can we not keep repeating the story? She does ask for input, and I don't think anybody is being negative or rude, not every story is going to be a hit, especially when she's been moving away from the nasty stories and back into what stories were shared originally. It's funny, but it is also gross.

It’s not just about the guests but us too. We aren’t paying for the same story to be repeated so many times. There are plenty of other jaw dropping stories you’ve read in the past that are better received from the audience that pays. Sure there are a few people who say they don’t mind hearing it a bunch but most of us and commenters on IG say they don’t like the coconut story.
