I went to Paris with my brother once and we wanted to make the most of our last night there, so we ended up fuckin WASTED by like 2 or 3 am and decided to run over to the Eiffel Tower one last time (the place we were staying was super close). I had the bright idea to try and climb up it, like the concrete platform. There was nobody else around and we managed to get on top before I started throwing up and a couple of police officers politely asked us to leave lmao

Okay, this guy absolutely sucks and he has a special place in hell, but for the other topic where you were asking about why people line up as soon as they start boarding. I think part of wanting to get on the plane sooner nowadays is that when you're in the last one or two boarding groups you usually are forced to check your bag and as someone who tries to travel carry on only as often as possible, i hate being forced to check my bag. However, I would never be such an ass that I would claim a disability to get on the plane faster. That's absolutely deplorable.
got jinx by the horror travel story episode!! someone stole my seat on my flight today and lied about it, didnât give the seat back (made me sit in the middle), and both ppl hogged the armrests. worst flight of my life đđ

I have a good travel story. It started great - trip to Maui on a private jet, and I got engaged. Trip back home was on a coach flight (not complaining about that) but we had to take care of fiancĂ©s elder grandpa and letâs just say there was lots of POOP involved.

BestiesâŠwanna hear my travel story? Here is mine! Itâs a doozyâŠgood luck. (I swear to God itâs true, and Iâll send receipts or a shorter condensed story if you dm lol) Last summer, I was going to Europe for a 2 week study abroad. I was so excited. My college gave us a price point, and we ended up spending a LOT more, but I was still hyped. However, the day before I was supposed to leave, I got COVID. I know. It wasnât just âI tested positiveâ but waking up in a panic because I wasnât breathing. It was bad. So I had to miss the first five days. I was home, struggling to breathe, hallucinating a bit, and overall not thriving. But, somehow, I got a flight. I found out 15 minutes before I had to leave for the airport that I got a flight. My first flight was a long flight to London. We were delayed an hour because there was a bomb threat and homeland security had to comb the plane. (ReminderâŠIâm not contagious, but my brain fog was BAD) The flight wasnât too bad. I was in between some nice people, and crocheted my little heart out. Then, when my plane landed in London, I only had TWO HOURS to make my next flight to Germany. I had to go through customs, get my bag, take two trains, FULL SPRINTING, check my bag, and go through security. I made it FIVE MINUTES before departure time. However, the plane was delayed 2 hours because there wasnât a crew, but I didnât know that until I got to the gate. Then, it gets worse. Remember, struggling to breathe and remember things, traveling alone at 19 for the first time. (And, first time leaving the country) The flight to Germany was fine, super short, and the people were nice (albeit giggling a little as I said âExcuse me, where is the train station?â in German over and over again. We were at that point where the plane is slowly taxiing, the seatbelt sign is still on, and everybody is standing up already. Suddenly we hear âEVERYBODY SIT DOWN RIGHT NOW!â I was terrified. Everyone was confused, and sat down. Thatâs when we heard the CPR machine âcompressionâŠcompressionâŠcompressionâŠâ We get to the gate, but the flight attendants were running around, trying to save this manâs life. There were flight attendants throwing up, crying, and shaking. I couldnât connect to the data to tell my professors that there was an incident, so I had to sit there while they attempted CPR on this poor man for 30+ minutes (which Morgan, correct me if Iâm wrong, but isnât effective that long). The plane was eerily quiet, only the sounds of crying and that damn machine. I have been awake for 30+ hours at this point. Iâm in a new country alone, scared, and absolutely exhausted. Finally, after the German police come to question the people around us after the man (who had passed away) was taken from the plane, we were able to exit from the back of the plane, and bussed to the airport. By this point, it was closed. There was one customs guy who barely listened and was stamping passports as fast as possible. Since it was empty, there was nobody to ask for help. I made it (thankfully) to the train station, took my 45 minute train to where my group was, and finally got connected. To this day, I struggle to believe it happened. I didnât cry until I got home after the whole trip because I didnât have time to process any of it. People ask me, âhow did you do it?â Honestly, there was no other option. I couldnât give up. I couldnât sit and cry. I had to keep going, through delays, bomb threats, trains, foreign countries, and a guy dying on the plane. However, I will never travel alone again. đ

Oooo okay see at work this makes more sense to me somehow. You should almost be more courteous to coworkers. Your family will love you even if your poop stinks but coworkers not so much? Solid take!! hehe

When I was 18 I did a bunch of traveling and lost my voice in 6 different countries. Was also laughed at by customs in 5 of those countries.

Unfortunately not but I have a different one scheduled in less than two weeks

Iâm laying here listening to âtomorrows podâ that showed up a bit early, and I feel so passionate to give that guy a YTA for the pooping in the wrong bathroom - especially near the kitchen!! Ugh! We have this rule at work, the guys and doctors decide to poop there - and then it wafts up and down the hall into the labs all day long. Itâs so gross and stinky and it makes it miserable for a quick pee between cases. The rule is to take a walk and go to the more public restrooms in the common area of the hallway. I know Iâm in the minority for this đ
