Wow. He used her to make his life better and now that he got everything he needed from her he wants to trade up...she spent all her time making him better for the next girl and won't reap any of the benefits. She's better off without him honestly. He's using Reddit to make himself feel less like a jerk.

Therapy is definitely necessary here, OP seems to be in love with his wife, it would be a shame to ruin it because of the past when she’s okay with it!
