I know this is almost 2 years ago but I just got this subscription and am listening back…. First story in and I’m DONE with this episode. WHAT IS WRONG WITH JORDAN?! ‘Everyone cheats’ ???? I get she must cheat on everyone but not EVERYONE cheats. The OP in this story deserves SO much better. And I hope she dumped his ass before he fully recovered. This take was gross asf.

I agree. I think putting yourself out there is one thing but the way he did it showed that he likely has some control issues. Blocking her in? Hell no. It would have been better for him to say something while she was in line. And demanding her number? Bro, just give her yours and let her be the one to decide if she wants to chat. This guy was running at her waving a red flag. You can do something like a google number that you have on while you’re out in case they decide to call you and you turn off the rest of the time. You can even make your message a rejection so they get it.

I understand that Jordan was trying to point out that the boyfriends’s actions in the first story are not typical of a serial cheater, however, it’s up to OP if that means the relationship is over. Some couples can get past cheating, but at the very least they would need to postpone the wedding and do some work on the relationship. If this is a deal breaker for OP though, that’s it, game over. I feel sad for Jordan that she has been in an environment where cheating is normalized (“everyone cheats”) and hope she has learned to expect more from her own relationships. Also, my mom said the same thing about assuming Jordan! The nerve of Amanda and Chris! Yes parenting is hard—that’s why some people make the adult choice not to have kids. To just expect your parent to be an unpaid nanny without even speaking to them is wild! He should have told his daughter “don’t be surprised when you’re not in the will”

…is Jordan high? Genuine question. I cannot fathom any sane person being on the side of a cheater. Especially in this case where it is SO cut and dry. Not some weird complicated situation with many factors and murky details (not that that absolves any cheater, but some rare cases can make you think about the situation a little more in depth.) There’s not anything to dissect here that could possibly make a case for the guy. This is such a weird ass take bro.

Therefore being naked without consent is the same no matter if it's two girls, two boys or a mix. I am super comfortable being naked, I change infront of all my friends. However, I make it a thing to ask each time to ask for consent. I ALWAYS ask if they’re okay with me changing infront of them or if they prefer I go to the bathroom- even if I’m in my own home. I had a friend- her & I would shower together if we were in a rush to get somewhere and another friend who didn’t mind me changing infront of her but was uncomfortable to change infront of me and I’d turn around while she did. Consent is a huge thing and shouldn’t be overlooked, just when people don’t like hugs. I have a friend who is uncomf with hugs and I ask her if it’s okay to hug her before doing so (she didn’t make it a thing, I did bc I know she’s uncomf) I agree with the top comment- soft asshole bc maybe OP didn’t think of it from that perspective? It is her home but that doesn’t eliminate consent+ common decency especially towards someone you call a friend..

Just need to say about the last story, while I might have verbalized it differently I think Jordan brought up a good point. I think at the end of the day if you would have been receptive to them approaching you in more neutral contexts, then it’s typically not creepy. If you wouldn’t have been interested in them approaching you prior, then stepping over a line like the guy did to force interaction, it’s creepy

I work at target in the beauty department. the team leads and “company expectations” are completely ridiculous and they schedule me alone half of the time and then get mad when i don’t fulfill the 30 tasks they give me (for a 5 hr shift). also we are supposed to get free beauty products each month but my team lead hands they out to all of her friends and keeps them from us. they also get really pissed whenever you ask for time off. i request thanksgiving break off 2 months in advance and got denied.
