In Cura open the Marketplace icon in the top right corner, look for the Mesh Tools and click install. restart Cura and open the file you are wanting to print. Right click the stl., hover over mesh tools and click split model into parts. If you don't have Cura, go to "copy paste" https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura click download and choose the one for you. Hope this helps.

Each 3D print video of the files requiring splitting explains it. Use mesh tools, it’s a free add on from the cura store.

Can anyone give me advice on how to select and print only one of the objects from an STL file (for example only the lid from Float Box.stl)? I'm getting frustrated that I can't figure out how to do this in Cura!
