Cool tips! is there a way to randomize the object colors in viewport using a script or plugin? I saw Jon Bosley having custom scripts in his 'Guide to XParticles' course, where he quickly randomizes colors of objects in viewport. Even the icon colors of multiple XPsystem objects for example get randomized by those tools he used. Cheers!

Great tips! Lots of things I was unaware of. Did you know, instead of using the hexidecimal mode for copying colours, you can just copy and paste from the colour box itself, or you can drag from one colour to another colour box to copy it another way.

No idont but in r21 and onwards and especially in R23 has a lot of modifications in viewport as presets etc. What i d do if no other solution, i would make a start scene that would always have a disabled sky object with black material. I d leave it there and if particles just enable it :)

BTW, do you know is there script or plugin which can change viewport colors? I know there is settings under preferences, but as preset? In many cases when dealing with particles it is better to have very dark viewport to see points. Just a thought. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Hey bud! Indeed the list is big haha I couldnt cover all. Select connected is double click in case u used the command hehe. For naming tool, i use the native one and serves my purposes well. Are u looking for different functionalities? cheers

Nice tips Thanos! Really liked those small quick ones with CTRL button inside Object manager and adjusting the pivot. Some of the tools I really find useful are: Selector, Phong Break Selection, Arrange, Transfer, Select Connected, Path Selection, Set Active Object as Camera... just to name few :) Btw, anybody familiar with good naming tool for C4D? There was one called AutoRename, but it's not working for new C4D versions. Cheers
