Hello, yea depends on what u are after. Either as alembic or nitrobake if u need those keyframes. I find nitrobake essential utility plugin in comparison with limitations of baking in c4d.

Did you bake the original cloth sim with the nitrobake? I made the first sim but dont know how to bake it ( late to the party) Thanks !

Hey buddy, no cause this was just straight sculpted. What u can do though is a basic cloth sim dropping a low plane on a sphere, get key poses and sculpt on top of em. U can use also smoothing deformer to get easy wrinkles.
