I'm so happy you're spotlighting this movie! It's one of the best scripts I've ever read. For discussion: Would this movie be greenlit today with the nebulous ages of Penny Lane and William Miller? (I find it true to life, but it seems problematic as well.)

I love this film. Please talk extensively about Philip Seymour Hoffman and Lester Bangs. (Oh, and maybe discuss the fact this is a perfect example of an ensemble challenging and influencing the central character. Thanks!)
