Haha...that's funny because I'm a lesbian, and I had a crush on her as Alex Mack, too. I was happy to see her pop up as Tommy's new love interest on 3rd Rock From the Sun. 10 Things basically gave me the happy ending I was hoping for her and JGL. We've got nothing to lose by telling her all this, but she's probably had to deal with a lot of this situation.

Larisa Olreynik story time! In 2013 or so, I went to see a play in North Hollywood and the whole time I’m like “I recognize this actress who is this.” And then it CLICKED! “ITS ALEX MACK!” She was my first crush, at like, 6 years old! And so after I felt I HAD to tell her because how often do you get to tell your first crush they were so?!?! So I did and she immediately responded “oh are you gay?” I was like “wha, uh, no.” And she was like “oh lots of gay guys say that to me! Cause Alex was kinda a tom boy and stuff.” She was super nice, but I’ve always wondered if that was the “shut this down and get away from me strange man” reply, as I realized she was probably Sick Of That Shit.
