The Last Tonguebender
~ahem~
It's watercolor. And here's why.
It actually has a bit of a silly story. I was going to paint it later, and in digital painting, but circumstances intervened. In the village where I live, the power went out for a few days (a station in the woods burned down). In fact, the station is not really fixed, and I may have new outages
So, I was working in daylight as long as the sun was shining :) I mean, artists had a very hard time without electricity :) Along with electricity, the Internet connection also disappeared (the cell phone tower went down).
So, I had to ask my husband to take me to the city in order to get the reference material XD I totally forgot how Azula was supposed to look like (I only remembered her perpetually bitchy expression)
That's why I went back to watercolors. And judging by how "efficiently" the power failure is being fixed, I'll have to draw you some more watercolor pictures
With love, Tiana Lynx.

CallMeDale
Also if anyone needs a source on some of that because it’s mostly presented in a “show don’t tell” way in the original series, a lot of what we understand of that custom comes from Rangi(girlfriend to Avatar Kyoshi) and her mother’s teachings about the fire nation in both of the Kyoshi novels.
CallMeDale
Also I just remembered that among the fire nation touching hair is often reserved for more intimate relationships(part of why it was so insulting when Azula kept messing with people’s hair in that ember island episode) but basically what I’m saying is her playing with Ty Lee’s braid is now more interesting

Just give Ty Lee a reason to stand on his hands XD
