New (old) monthly Poll
🕑 Added 2021-06-17 20:56:21 +0000 UTCAs I wrote before - I am going to do some clean up and revamping of the patreon page. One part of that is bringing back some purpose of the dev team.
That purpose was for you guys to weigh in on the developement focus. Creating videos and other content is a big part of what I do but in the end I am a developer at heart.
My goal is to have a monthly poll where I give you a set of options what aspect should get more attention. In the end I come to all of them but I want you to have a voice in it.
So let this be an example of what I have in mind with these polls.
There are several things that I am wanting to work on but I am not set on one specificly.
- The DK Tool Set could use an update. There a several small bits and pieces that could be added to the library.
- The whole VEX Library did fall asleep a bit due to me getting sucked into unreal. The library file itself grew but the functionality stayed the same. It still has potential to for more.
- In the latest video I did explore the udim workflow. I allocated the tiles basically by hand. A tool to do that procedurally by looking at the given groups might be a very usefull tool
- I experimented with some workflows to trigger Alexa to send IFTTT webhooks to my pc which uses ACC to do simple commands. Like press the hotkeys to create the initial geo container and a first wrangle. You can even write your own python mods that get executed by this approach. This has endless potential but no clear use case yet. But I could follow that rabbit hole...
- That unreal prototype that I use as a learning project will need a crap load work to reach that point where it will be a solid showcase. There is still a good chunk of Houdini HDA, C++ and blueprints work to do.
