I’ve come to conclusion that Dem Party elevated Bernie as a party operative to try to reign in left voters disillusioned by Obama then did it again in 20 for fear of losing again. Always surprised me that party allowed Bernie to run as dem in 16. Then his abrupt departure in 20 after winning IA & NH very fishy. Do a deep dive on this maybe
