🕑 Added 2022-10-09 02:04:57 +0000 UTCWhen I was a kid I freeze-framed episodes of Darkwing Duck all the time, drawing so many character sheets of him and other characters. I’d say I learned more about animating through careful observation of Darkwing Duck than any other way.
Anyway, Ekho the duck here was very inspired by ol’ DW (whom I could practically draw with my eyes closed by now), mixed with Daffy. I also was inspired from the joke timing on Gene Wilder’s “you know…morons” ad-libbed scene in Blazing Saddles.
