Roscoe, I never realized in my dazed and confused mind that you were in Virginia. I’m in Virginia too, in Floyd way down in SW VA in the Blue Ridge, 1 mile from the Parkway. Not my native state (North Carolina was.) lost both my parents within 6 months of each other 10 years ago…they were marrried for 70 years and I took care of them for the last 10 years of their lives…soo let me say - grief has no time limits, grief can make you laugh and make you cry, it can mask itself as depression - but it isn’t - it’s grief! I’ve had many heated discussions concerning my handling of grief - it’s so personal. I still have days, like their birthdays and holidays, thanks for being so real with us …I lurk here cause I’m too socially inept at meeting people I don’t know - sorry you’ve had a very bad, no good week. Sail on my friend.
