Thatβs definitely correct. But also, it would be SO much work to sort of go in and change each control to another. Better to just make something new!

Pretty sure you can, but you will have to manually edit the patch. The reason this patch works like it does is because the gamepad is not sending MIDI. It talks to the gamepad component in MAX which then sends midi. So yes you can. Just connect your midi controller of choice to Ableton and start mapping. And realize that a gamepad joystick is flexible like an XY Pad, maybe even more. Doing the same with faders and rotary knobs at that speed. You canβt. Sorry to be a wise ass. I am new here and I know nothing. π

Sweet sweet progressions! I bought a used game pad about a month ago to start getting into this but I havenβt been able to get round to it because Iβm obsessed with mixing desk feedback now. Argh. π€£
