Basically you'll hook your controller up in max, then port the signals through to VCV rack with something like Blackhole. If nothing else you can have some fun with the included sample.

What computer did you do this on? Can you get the Intruo plug in running on your M2 Pro Mac?

No I didn’t have to do anything outside of connect the PS5 controller to my Mac. I have have read about people having issues with PC but I I don’t know exactly what. Have you had a look at the Max Helpfile for the gamepad object to see if you are connecting to the Helpfile patch?
