Patreon charges you when you sign up for my group. However, their billing cycle starts on the 1st (midnight PST time zone) similar to any subscription services.
To avoid getting charges twice, tell your friends to wait until the 1st of June to join. Folks who joined my group in the past didnโt aware of this policy, they said they were over charged. ๐๐ฝ๐
