Delta Green: Agent Motivations
🕑 Added 2019-09-10 09:13:06 +0000 UTCIn Delta Green, Agent motivations are role-playing tools and a valuable resource. They give you ideas to shape your Agent's behavior and get into your Agent's head. And they let you regain Willpower Points when you start burning WP too quickly due to failure, exhaustion, and the overwhelming stress of Sanity loss and projection. But choosing motivations out of thin air can be daunting. Where do you start?
That's the challenge that inspired this tool from the Delta Green Briefing Documents download. I developed these sample motivations to inspire good role-playing and, importantly, to help players answer the perennial question: Why are you here? Why do you face these terrible threats and destructive secrets when you could just turn away?
WHAT KEEPS YOUR AGENT GOING?
Motivations help an Agent regain WP and SAN. To create a motivation with the attached download, roll 1D12 for a category and 1D10 for the motivation. If necessary, roll 1D8 for the motivation’s object. Add details to fit the Agent’s background, occupation, and personality.
