Animations or graphics never make or break it for me. A great story wins, always. This is a great story--and I appreciate the graphics too. I will love this regardless of it having animations or not.

i agree, if they arent good, animations can hurt a story. but, i havent seen many "bad" animations, since im a visually driven person....

I like them a lot if done well, but if they aren't it can make the scene worse. It's tricky.

I know I enjoy a game with animations more than with just stills. But art style and writing are more important so I rated the importance of animation 4/5. I don’t mind a slowdown in updates if adding animation.
