not surprising for me. onosato just needs more experience, imo. i think he'll be dominating takanosho in about a year's time (if he stays healthy ofc)

As we know, new ozeki typically do not do well. I don't think this says anything about his future. He should just aim to get a kachi-koshi this basho, really

People may not remember but Takanosho was Sekiwake at one point. No substitute for experience, like Chris said!

Just goes to show how fast experience can help ,they got this kids number now so he’s gotta change up his offense in my opinion
