I thought Rogue One was the only movie i saw that Donnie Yen was in, until i remembered that he was in Blade 2, but unfortunately underused. The choreography is crazy fast. The post production sound effects are a bit off-putting though, it kind of takes you out of it.

Thank you Gabriela 🙏🏽 and Juti I completely agree with you and yes I have heard he is the Master in multiple Martial Arts. Not just one. That’s why he is highly regarded. Another note re the film. The fight with the big dude @ the end is also dope ✊🏾

Donnie Yen, has been around since the 90s. Different level, this guy is a director, producer, choreographer etc. Please check Donnies stats, old school movies from the most famous once upon a time in china, hero, blade; this guy is in the same era as Jet Li and Jackie Chan starring in a lot of their movies back in the day. Dont compare the guys from the raid to King Donny the Legend!! Also a Master in multiple Martial Arts!

They shot this an one hour & while Donnie choreographed most of the pieces in the film. The two actors trained together and know each other inside & out. This fight was mostly Ad-libbed. They had a bet who could hit the other first. Donnie broke his weapon 3 times during the one hour shoot.
