Early Access - Ep. 17
🕑 Added 2024-07-06 09:36:26 +0000 UTCHey folks,
Here's the next one. It's getting to that 'oh my god; this stories still going' stage now lol. It's a good story, don't get me wrong. I just wish there was a way of getting through these things quicker.
There's technically 7 more chapters to go. But the last one is quite short so, hopefully, I can just combine Chapters 23 & 24.
We're looking at maybe finishing in August. As much as I'd love to finish it sooner so that I can make a start on the Chronicle Volume 4 videos (on release)… that's probably a tall order. Highly doubt I could bash out 7 chapters in 3 weeks; even if I no-life'd it.
In other news - Been playing Dawntrail (when I can) for the past week. Queues have been non-existent. And I'm actually really enjoying Pictomancer (one of the new jobs). But if I'm completely honest; I'm struggling to be invested in the Main Scenario storyline for this one. Things just started to pick up a bit around level 96 but up to this point it's been a little bit dull. In my opinion.
It's probably because the last few expansions were such high stakes. I'm willing to let them cook as it takes time to establish a new big bad but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed thus far. It doesn't help that I find a main character (Wuk Lamat) kinda irritating!
Anywho - Hope you enjoy this new episode. Thanks, as always, for your support. And I'll see ya in the next Early Access post. Cheers mates!

I'm not quite sure how to source the comics tbh. Nor what the legality is. With the books; they're owned by Blizzard and as far as Im aware - they don't appear to have an issue with what I'm doing (theyve not sent me a cease and desist lol). I obviously try to make sure my work is transformative anyway. With the comics; they're published by DC I think. Comic book publishers tend to be a little bit litigious unfortunately.

I'm looking forward to it, especially War of the Ancients. How about the comics like Ashbringer or the Sunwell Trilogy? Maybe they're easier to summarize and not as complicated as the WotA books.

Plan is to do all the books eventually. Even if it takes me until I'm 90. I try not to plan too far ahead though because that just fills me with existential dread lol. So short term plan is to just get this particular trilogy finished (with Chronicle Vol. 4 in-between). Try and remake the first 3 Chronicle series at some point as well but I'm not focusing on that currently. And no bloody idea what will be after that lol
