Early Access - Lord of the Clans Ep. 16
🕑 Added 2024-01-26 10:35:49 +0000 UTCHey peeps, How's it going?
Here's the next one...
I'm unsure about this one tbh. Little bit nervous lol. On the one hand - I think it's got a pretty funny visual gag in it. One of my best, maybe? But on the other hand - It also showcases my limitations. I don't have the skillset to animate some of the things that happen in this chapter. It's these moments where I just feel a bit 'amateur'
Anywho - Not great news yesterday. 1900 layoffs is a lot of layoffs. I have no internal connections at Blizzard or anything like that so I don't know anyone personally that's been affected by it but still. T'was sad news. I won't be partaking in the wider conversation about it though because, as I've said in my Discord a few times recently, I just want to be a cheeseburger
For anyone that's confused by that statement... I saw an Andrew Santino comedy special recently where he spoke about how he "just wants to be a cheeseburger". It weirdly resonated with me.
'You pick up a cheeseburger. You enjoy it. And then you move on. No one asks the cheeseburger what it thinks about climate change'. That's what I want to be. I just want to make silly little videos that people can enjoy. Make the lore a little bit more accessible for those of us that don't take things too seriously. And I shall leave the serious conversations to people that are actually qualified to talk on those things
Also I did a bit of 'rebranding' recently. Changed the channel banner (and Patreon banner). Looks a bit more snazzy now, I think. In hindsight - I should've just made the banner a picture of a cheeseburger lol
But anyway - Thanks, as always, for your support. T'is much appreciated. And I shall see you in the next Early Access post. See ya!
