This is MTL. So, I cannot guarantee that the translation 100% contextually accurate or appropriate.
.
This is a crossover between the sales report and the author's novel.
I wrote this because many readers were curious about the reaction of Lyle and others in the comments section.
If you don't like that, I don't recommend reading it.
The characters are [Aleist], [Lyle], [Ponsuke], and [Leon].
The works in order are [Dragoon], [Sevens], [Pandora of Illusion and Reality], and [The Otome Game World is a Tough World for Mob].
…… Not that it matters, but the titles are getting longer and longer the newer they are.
.
.
"There is unfortunate news... There is one traitor in this group."
It was a room in a Western-style building.
It was raining outside the large window, and the room was quite dark as it was nighttime. Thunder was rumbling, creating an unsettled atmosphere.
The light from the candles and the fireplace ―― the sound of wood popping, made Aleist, who was sitting on the lone sofa, sit up on his haunches.
"L-Lie! Because we are all victims!"
Standing near the window, Lyle, who said there was a traitor in the room, looked around at the faces in the room.
Besides Aleist, there was Leon, who was indignant to hear that there was a traitor in the group.
"Who has betrayed? Unforgivable."
Ponsuke, an orc, monopolizes the large sofa all by himself with his arms crossed.
His eyes closed.
Lyle lifted the glass in his hand to his eye level and began to explain the gathering in a matter-of-fact manner.
"Yes, it is unforgivable. There should be no such thing as a traitor among us, the Hidoin Victims' Association." (TLN: Hidoi Heroine = Cruel Heroine)
Aleist sits down on the sofa with his head in his hands and looks down.
"I thought we were getting along so well as fellow victims!"
It is Leon who comforts Aleist.
"Right. Who is the traitor~"
Although he felt that his comforting words were not from the heart, Lyle ignored that and turned his attention to Ponsuke.
"By the way, Ponsuke, do you have anything to say? One half cowardly got away from Hidoin with an amnesia end or some other lousy ending, and doesn't you think anything of it? You don't like it, do you? You don't like Hidoin right? "
Ponsuke opened his eyes.
"No, ano... I would say I'm rather happy. Everyone is nice."
Leon laughed.
"Ponsuke-san is really cool. I respect you deeply. Respect."
Aleist sheds tears.
"Because the people around him are so awful, he probably doesn't know what normal romance is like..."
Lyle drank and was deeply sympathetic to Ponsuke's current situation.
"Yes. We are both suffering from Hidoin. We are sworn brothers who share the same suffering. I'm sure we'll avenge the disappointment of a great person, but I don't even want to think about a traitor."
Everyone but Ponsuke nodded.
Then Lyle's gaze turns to Leon.
"――By the way, Leon-kun"
"What is it?"
"I heard that you recently made up with your female friends. I hear they are very nice girls? Would you say that's a Hidoin?"
Leon protested at Lyle's suspicious glare.
"Wait a minute! You doubt me? Don't you know what kind of terrible things I've been through with the girls? Cruel. Lyle-san is cruel."
"Bastard, I'm gonna blow you away!"
Aleist calmed down the furious Lyle and then returned to the main topic.
"I guess there's no such thing as a traitor after all?"
Ponsuke raises his hand in a small gesture.
"Ano, I already said, I'm normal ―― Ah, wait a minute. I got a message."
When status screens and messages float around Ponsuke, the other party is his guild member... It was from Reiter.
"Help, Ponsuke-kun! Alfie said, "I'm gonna blow that bitch away!" She is searching Nanako-chan all over the place. Mariela and the other girls also went out with their weapons"
Ponsuke read the message and hurriedly left the room.
"Nanako-chan is in danger! Everyone, I'll take my leave now!"
The footsteps of the orcs running away were quite loud, and both Lyle and Aleist had tears in their eyes as they watched his back.
"...He's not a traitor."
"Aa~, he's our companion."
In front of the backs of fellow men suffering from hidoin, they could not help but shed tears.
In the midst of all that, Leon is looking at Aleist.
"W-What?"
"...Aleist-san, are you a traitor, perhaps?"
"H-Haa? W-Why! Do you have any idea how much trouble I'm having!"
Leon squints his eyes.
"Having said that, who is Aleist-san's heroine? I'm a little confused. I know that you have a harem with a large number of people for now, but what about the hidoin with just that? I don't think it's a good idea to play the victim with a harem that has numbers but lacking in quality."
Aleist takes a step back.
Lyle thought.
(This guy is the worst)
He gives a follow-up for Aleist.
"B-Baka! Who would benefit from that heavy harem! The hardships of Aleist-senpai can be understood by [reading the 4th volume of Dragoon released in March]!"
* After nearly three years of waiting, the fourth volume of Dragoon will be released in March! Now accepting pre-orders!
Leon is suspicious of Lyle as well.
"Lyle-san, you're suspicious, too."
"Y-You're saying I'm suspicious! I got laughed at in the comments section for having hidoin, what do you mean you suspect me?"
Leon stood up, straightened his back, and began to walk slowly.
The atmosphere was snarky, as if Lyle was pretending to be a detective. (TLN: I am confused here. Maybe the author typo? I think this should be Leon)
"That's it. The heroine who has done so much for you, representing by Wallet-san, is treated like a Hidoin. Aren't you actually a pretty lucky guy?"
"Stop calling Vera Wallet-san!"
"Oops, excuse me. ―― So what else is there to say?"
When Lyle was unable to say anything back, Leon continued.
"I heard that [Sevens Volume 6 will be released at the end of this month]. I'm looking forward to it! Let me check to see if these girls are really Hidoin."
* And now you can pre-order Sevens Volume 6! Buy it!
Suspected and impatient, Lyle wipes the sweat off his face.
"O-Okay. You have no idea how hard I've been struggling! Let me tell you, it was harder than yours!"
Leon smiles wryly and leaves the room.
"Yes, let's look forward to it."
Both Lyle and Aleist could only look on in frustration as Leon walked away with a proud smile on his face.
◇
...... That was close.
As he patted his chest, a cold sweat broke out.
In front of them, if he says, "I am happy because I have Livia and Ange!" he doesn't know what kind of terrible things would happen to him if he said something like that.
"I deflected suspicion by suspecting them first before they got serious, but no next time, I guess? Damn, I'm suffering from girls too, why do I have to go through this"
Why am I the only one who has to suffer so unreasonably?
It must be because I am a kind-hearted person.
I hate myself sometimes for being so soft.
"Now, I'm going to invite Livia and Ange to a tea party today. I'll prepare the tea leaves that Shishou gave me. I also need to buy some sweets. Their tales of misfortune will make for good tea today."
It was Leon walking down the corridor with light steps.
.
Sevens Volume 6 will be released on February 28th! (TLN: This is in 2018)
Dragoon Volume 4 will be released on March 25th!
Thank you for your continued support. m ( _ _) m
