January is TAXING

Well, it comes after the holiday season which is possibly the worst time ever, I think if January were the month where my skin peeled off constantly it would still feel positive in comparison to the emotional meat grinder that is December. It’s so nice that I tend to relax a bit, get back into a flow and stuff…
And then OH FUCK MY LIFE SHIT SHIT SHIT I HAVE TO FILE AND PAY MY TAXES AHHHH
You get a full year to do this you know? A full year. Here I am, less than 10 days to go panicking. Still, it’s an improvement on last year where I didn’t remember until like, 4 days before the deadline. Anyway, uh, could you all bear with me until I have this sorted? I’d really appreciate that x_x

Australia makes it so easy to do taxes. It automatically comes out of our paychecks and then at tax time there's an app we can use that takes like 10 mins to lodge a tax return. Most people get money back from the tax department. If you have investments or other complicated financials then having an accountant do it for you is probably better.
