Just catching up, but it’s possible there may be another interpretation of driving the pig: The song mentions a visit to Culebra which is an island that is part of Puerto Rico. Lechon is a whole roasted pig that is a huge deal in Puerto Rico, especially around the holidays. There is even a “lechon” road in the main island where there’s just stalls and stalls of people selling roasted pork!

I’m late to the party, but listening to this now, yall have to do an episode on the Olive the other reindeer special. It’s literally my dad’s favorite Christmas thing. He watches it every year. And it’s crazy. A character called Round John Virgin, like the song, and an evil mail man. Next year a second gate or a club 3 next year. Lol
