My new book (Existential Physics) has a section on the principle of least action, but I had more to say than that. And the stuff that didn't fit into the new book will be in Saturday's video.

Wow, what a neat idea! Good luck with the experiment and keep us posted how it goes. I can't get enough of the no-nonsense booming Brooklyn accent and have been listening to entertain myself, so I am glad it might turn out to be useful. His intuition for physics never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks for that reference Rad. There is so much of the Feynman lectures that have left my brain. I have a student this summer working on an interferometer using a couple of DirectTV dishes operating at 12 GHz (~2.5 cm). It turns out that the electronics in CFL bulbs emit radio waves near this frequency. Now I want him to do the experiment Feynman describes to show that the radio light "smells" the correct path in accordance with the PLA.
